    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a system for abating a hydrocarbon compound (HCC) in air using photocatalytic oxidation (PCO). For example, the system can include an air handling unit (AHU), a sensor and a control panel. The AHU can be configured to abate HCC in air using PCO. The sensor can be configured to sense a level of the HCC in the air. The control panel can be configured to control the AHU based on the level of the HCC.
