Publication number: 20240066311Abstract: EMR applicators of an EMR applicator array are provided in an openable applicator housing to allow easy patient entrance to and exit therefrom so that the portion of the patient's body that contains the tissue to be treated can be positioned directly into the applicator housing without the applicator housing having to be moved along the patient's body. This can eliminate or reduce the need for full body supporting structure as part of the applicator housing. The applicator housing provides support for the portion of the body positioned therein, and support pads or pillows, separate from the applicator housing, can replace the need for a full body support as part of the applicator housing. The housing can reduce the size and complication of prior art applicator housings, and can be placed along with the patient, on a patient support surface, such as in a standard MRI system.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Jason Ellsworth, Paul F. Turner

Patent number: 10737106Abstract: A radio frequency annular phased array hyperthermia system providing a heated focal zone with a diameter of 3 cm or less in a tissue mass includes a plurality of at least 42 radio frequency energy applicators in three rings adapted to surround the tissue mass. A bolus having a dielectric constant is positioned between the energy applicators and the tissue mass. The energy applicators operate at a frequency of at least about 900 MHz. to create the heated focal zone. The circumferential spacing between adjacent applicators in each ring is less than a critical distance and spacing between adjacent side by side rings is also less than a critical distance with such critical distances being interdependent on the frequency of the energy radiated, the dielectric constant of the bolus, the size of the bolus, and the size of the tissue mass.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2018Date of Patent: August 11, 2020Assignee: Pyrexar Medical Inc.Inventors: Paul F. Turner, Jason Ellsworth

Patent number: 10171564Abstract: A cloud-based system for integration of agricultural data with geolocation-based agricultural operations is provided. The system receives agricultural-related data associated with a given geographic area and transforms the received data into an analysis-ready format. The system processes the received data through one or more algorithms to determine at least one operation to be performed within the given geographic area. The system generates a set of instructions for execution of the at least one operation within the given geographic area as a function of geolocation, where the instructions are coded for direct use by a controller of a specified type of agricultural equipment. The system transmits the instructions over a wireless communication channel to the controller, where the instructions cause the controller to direct operation of the agricultural equipment to perform the at least one operation within the given geographic area as a function of geolocation in an automated manner.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2017Date of Patent: January 1, 2019Assignee: AgVerdict, Inc.Inventors: Michael Wilbur, Jason Ellsworth, Toji Oommen, Adarsha Mohapatra, David Thayer

Patent number: 9813512Abstract: A data receiving module receives sampled agricultural-related data associated with a given geographic area. An analysis module processes the received sampled agricultural-related data to generate a sub-sampled raster of agricultural-related data over the given geographic area. The analysis module processes the sub-sampled raster of agricultural-related data to generate a final output raster of agricultural-related data over the given geographic area. The final output raster has a higher resolution than the sub-sampled raster. A geospatial data map generation module generates image data that when used to control a display of a remote subscriber computing device causes the display to show a geospatial data map based on the final output raster of agricultural-related data over the given geographic area. A communication module transmits instructions including the generated image data to the remote subscriber computing device to cause processing of the image data to display the geospatial data map on the display.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2016Date of Patent: November 7, 2017Assignee: AgVerdict, Inc.Inventors: Michael Wilbur, Jason Ellsworth, Toji Oommen, Adarsha Mohapatra, David Thayer

Publication number: 20090117332Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus and process for forming a monolithic array of glass parts. This invention enables high-precision glass parts of a relatively large size, such as mirrors for a solar concentrator, to be manufactured in an economical manner. A multi-cavity mold prevents warping of a glass sheet during a slumping process by utilizing multiple vacuum ports, which may be supplemented by stiffening features formed in the mold.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2008Publication date: May 7, 2009Applicant: SolFocus, Inc.Inventors: Jason Ellsworth, Darrel Bailey

Publication number: 20090114265Abstract: The present invention is an improved solar concentrator array utilizing a monolithic array of primary mirrors with a metal layer deposited on its backside for electrical purposes and for dissipating heat. The array of primary mirrors may be formed by glass slumping. The size of the primary mirrors is chosen to accommodate design aspects related to performance, manufacturing processes, cost, and thermal management. An electrical package, which in one embodiment is a molded leadframe, provides the electrical circuitry between a solar cell and the metal layer. The electrical package may be configured with features such as an aperture or side edges to enhance manufacturability of the solar concentrator array. An array of secondary mirrors may be integrally formed with a front panel of the solar concentrator.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 18, 2008Publication date: May 7, 2009Applicant: SOLFOCUS, INC.Inventors: Michael Milbourne, Hing Wah Chan, Jason Ellsworth, Darrel Bailey, Gill Shook, Eric Prather
