  • Patent number: 11928608
Abstract: A disclosed system for transport asset monitoring, for example monitoring truck trailer unloading progress at large retail locations, includes an artificial intelligence (AI) solution for managing operations at a facility. The AI solution analyzes current load percentage and other data to predict availability for moving the transport asset and ability to accept a new incoming transport asset. Predictions of availability can reduce response times, resulting in higher utilization rates for assets, thereby improving efficiency. An exemplary system includes a sensor configured to sense operation progress parameter data for a transport asset; and logic to receive the operation progress parameter data from the sensor; determine, using the AI solution and based at least on the operation progress parameter data, a predicted milestone parameter; and report the predicted milestone parameter to a remote node.

  • Publication number: 20230347581
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to methods of constructing a structure and related non-transitory computer readable medium. In an embodiment, the method includes (a) defining a vertical first slice and a second vertical slice of the structure. A lateral cross-section of the structure within the first vertical slice is different than the lateral cross-section of the structure for the second vertical slice. In addition, the method includes (b) depositing a plurality of first vertically stacked layers of an extrudable building material with a printing assembly to form the first vertical slice. Further, the method includes depositing a plurality of second vertically stacked layers of the extrudable building material atop the first vertical slice with the printing assembly to form the second vertical slice.

  • Publication number: 20220268039
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems to provide real-time adjustment for the three-dimensional printing of architectural structures are disclosed herein. An example apparatus includes a printing control processor configured to receive a model file that specifies a three-dimensional representation of a building structure to be printed. The processor slices the model file into individual layers. Each layer has a height corresponding to a height of a layer to be printed. The processor converts the layers into computerized instructions for a three-dimensional printer. During printing, the processor receives adjustment information that is indicative of an adjustment made by the three-dimensional printer during the printing of a current layer. The processor applies the adjustment information to subsequent computerized instructions that are to be executed after printing the current layer.

  • Patent number: 8231469
Abstract: A game server stores data pertaining game players prematurely dropping out from games during the occurrence of the games, either voluntarily, involuntarily, or both. The games involve use of the wireless devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, or other types of devices. The game server includes a processor and machine instructions executable by the processor making available the data, or a ranking for each game player derived from the data, to the game players. Thus, the game players can access the data and make an informed decision as to whether to include a particular game player in a future game, based on their past history of prematurely dropping out of games.

  • Patent number: 7435177
Abstract: A handheld game device includes a processing element that executes a game application, such as for example a car-racing application or other interactive game which is viewed on a screen display provided in the game device. The game device also contains a camera, preferably taking the form of an electronic video camera, capturing image frames at a suitable frame rate, such as 10 or 20 frames per second or more. The game device uses movement information obtained from a sequence of images obtained from the camera as a basis to navigate the user through a game that the user is playing on the device. For example, if the user tilts the device to the left, the tilting action results in image movement. The image movement is interpreted as user input of movement commands for the video game application, just as joystick movement is interpreted as movement commands for the video game application.

  • Patent number: 7435179
Abstract: A gaming server periodically receives location information from a plurality of distributed gaming devices. Such devices can take the form of cellular telephones or other wireless communications devices equipped with a GPS transceiver. When the gaming server determines that a gaming device is within a predetermined range of another gaming device, it sends an authorization message such as an “in-range” message to one or both of the devices within range of each other. The users of the device(s) receiving the in-range message are then authorized to “shoot” the other user, e.g., by taking a picture of them, pointing a laser at them or other gaming action that may be specified by the rules of the game. The gaming action could also be initiating a game.
