  • Publication number: 20210228806
Abstract: Low-profile fluid injection systems and methods for injecting fluid into a tumor within a body comprising an elongate member, a plurality of fluid delivery members, and a plurality of fluid reservoirs. Each of the plurality of fluid reservoirs may be fluidly coupled to a single of fluid delivery lumen of a single fluid delivery member such that each of the fluid delivery members is fluidly independent of every other fluid delivery member. The plurality of fluid delivery members may be configured to extend out of a distal end of the elongate member into the tumor when the system is positioned in the body of a patient. A fluid delivery mechanism may be operably coupled to the plurality of fluid reservoirs in order to deliver fluids from the plurality of fluid reservoirs to the plurality of fluid delivery members and inject the fluids into the tumor.

  • Publication number: 20210170052
Abstract: An administration device comprising an array of needles, one or more fluid agents, and at least one hydrogel is described. The device can simultaneously deliver a plurality of fluid agents along respective axes into a tissue. The use of hydrogel leads to constrained delivery of the fluid agents. The constrained delivery of an agent is also achieved by depositing a drug implant into a tissue. The effect of an agent on the tissue can be evaluated thereafter. In addition, the invention is directed to treating muscle diseases by delivering a therapeutic agent in vivo, and the use of reporter tissues for candidate drug evaluation, detecting and characterizing resistance.

  • Publication number: 20160001925
Abstract: Disclosed is a cover for a bottle that includes a retention feature to allow a user to hold the bottle using a single digit of the user's hand once the cover is in place. Preferably the cover is designed so that it can be slipped over a bottle containing e-liquid for refilling of electronic cigarettes. The cover is a form fitting sleeve and permits visualization of the fluid level in the bottle through openings in the sleeve or by using a semi-transparent material for the sleeve. The retention feature, preferably, can be shaped into a loop shape by the user and allows a user to slip at least one digit through the retention feature thereby permitting the user to simultaneously hold the bottle and a cartridge, cartomizer or clearomizer in one hand and to use the other hand to fill the cartridge, cartomizer or clearomizer of the electronic cigarette with the e-liquid.

  • Patent number: 8739245
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with flexible supplicant access control are described. One example method includes collecting a network information associated with a network to which an endpoint is to be communicatively coupled. The network information comprises a network identification and information to facilitate the evaluation of network threats. The example method may also include classifying the network based, at least in part, on the network information, to assign a variable level access parameter (VLAP) to the network based on the policy locally configured on the endpoint or centrally managed by the administrator. The VLAP may establish three or more access levels for the network at the endpoint. The example method may also include communicating the network identification and the network VLAP to a second endpoint, a security agent, a security application, and so on.

  • Patent number: 8453216
Abstract: An extensible authentication framework is used in cable networks such as Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) cable networks. The authentication scheme allows for centralized authentication of cable modems, as well as authentication of the cable network by cable modems. Additionally, the authentication scheme allows a Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) to authenticate devices downstream from cable modems, such as Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) devices.

  • Patent number: 7930734
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for creating and tracking network sessions. A request to access a network is received from an entity. The entity is authenticated after the request is received. Authenticated identity information associated with the entity, network address information associated with the entity, and network location information associated with the entity is collected. An information set is created. The information set comprises and binds together the authenticated identity information, the network address information, and the network location information. The information set indicates a present association among the authenticated identity information, the network address information, and the network location information. The information set is stored in a session record in a centralized database. The session record represents a session in which the entity accesses the network. The session record is one of a plurality of session records that are stored in the centralized database.

  • Patent number: 7162408
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to methods, systems, and computer-readable media for emulating a Subscriber Identification Module (SIM). SIM emulation comprises reading configuration data representing one or more characteristics of the SIM. Execution of the emulation is then initiated. A SIM command is received from a Radio Interface Layer (RIL) to access resources of the SIM. The SIM command is handled in a manner consistent with operation of the SIM based on the configuration data. Data related to the SIM command and handling of the command is logged.
