Abstract: An electronic device displays one or more views of a software application with a plurality of gesture recognizers including at least one discrete gesture recognizer, configured to send a single action message in response to a respective gesture; and at least one continuous gesture recognizer, configured to send action messages at successive recognized sub-events of a respective recognized gesture. The device detects one or more events and processes each event using one or more of the gesture recognizers, including: processing the respective event at a respective gesture recognizer in accordance with a respective gesture definition corresponding to the respective gesture recognizer, and conditionally sending one or more respective action messages to the software application in accordance with an outcome of the processing of the respective event. The device executes the software application in accordance with one or more action messages received from one or more of the gesture recognizers.

Abstract: The treatment of human subjects exposed to, or potentially exposed to SARS-CoV-2 virus, or suffering from COVID-19, comprises the step of administering to the human subjects a multiple-component antiviral formulation comprising a curcumin component, harmine component, and isovanillin component, and/or variants thereof. The formulation may also be used to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 virus in cell-based assays or in the manufacture of antiviral medicaments.

Abstract: A reservation system synchronization process that synchronizes scheduling, customer, and configuration information and reduces conflicts for calendar-driven consumer service businesses. The process keeps business calendar information on both a local computer system, residing at the local business facility, and a webserver attached to the Internet, each of which is self-sustaining in the event of a computer system or network connection failure. A polling process synchronizes the reservation information entered into the databases on each computer system. The reservation system synchronization process automatically resolves conflicts and avoids information loss.
