  • Publication number: 20230334929
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to generate an access code specific to a user of an online marketplace to use to enter a first accommodation during a first reservation time frame and a second accommodation during a second reservation time frame and to send the access code specific to the user to a computing device at the first accommodation and a computing device at the second accommodation to use to enter the first accommodation during the first reservation time period and the second accommodation during the second reservation time period. The access code is automatically removed from the computing device at the first accommodation and the computing device at the second accommodation at the end of the first reservation time period and at the end of the second reservation time period, respectively.

  • Patent number: 11762742
Abstract: A process control system includes first type and second type controllers having different hardware architectures coupled together by a redundancy network for providing a controller pool. Primary application modules (AMs) are coupled to the controller platforms by a plant-wide network. The controller platforms are coupled by an input/output (I/O) mesh network to I/O devices to provide an I/O pool coupled to field devices coupled to processing equipment. A translating device translates states and values from one of the primary AMs running on a first type controller to generate a backup AM having an instruction set compatible with the second type controller. A controller application module orchestrator (CAMO) extends synchronization to the second type controller, makes the backup AM available to the second type controller, and then switches to utilize the second type controller as an active controller running the process.

  • Publication number: 20100322113
Abstract: Access to a teleconferencing system is granted to a prospective attendee (1) for a predetermined duration, by dating the user for access to the facilities (107) for a predetermined duration, and allocating resources (110) to the user for the predetermined duration. This duration can be defined in terms of an expiry date, or a predetermined number of separate occasions for which access to the facilities is permitted, or a combination of both. To allow a user to break out of a conference and rejoin it, multiple accessions within a predetermined period (such as one day) may be counted as a single accession in counting towards the predetermined number of accessions. Different users may be validated for use of the same resources for different durations. This arrangement provides many of the existing capabilities of both booked and reservationless conferences in a single unified system.

  • Publication number: 20080077192
Abstract: A neuro-stimulation system employs a includes a stimulator which may include electrode devices and/or vibration elements. A controller may be employed to drive the stimulating elements with an electrical signal. In response to the electrical signal, the stimulating elements deliver electrical and/or mechanical stimulation to the body part. The stimulation may be an aperiodic stimulation and/or may be a subthreshold stimulation. In one embodiment, the stimulator is disposable and the processor determines usage of the stimulator and ensures that the stimulator is limited to a certain amount of use. Neuro-stimulation systems may be applied to sensory cells of body parts during movement of the body parts to induce neuroplastic changes. Such movement may involve a variety of therapeutic applications, e.g. in stroke patient therapy.
