  • Patent number: 12313012
Abstract: A method for reducing a clearance gap between a plurality of rotor blades and a shroud assembly of an engine includes determining, with a flight control system, that an airplane is in a first flight condition. The method also includes adjusting the clearance gap to a first clearance gap distance associated with the first flight condition. Further, the method includes receiving, with the flight control system, a demand for a second flight condition. During the second flight condition, the method includes adjusting at least two independently controllable parameters, the at least two independently controllable parameters comprising, at least, a first parameter for optimizing the clearance gap and a second parameter for satisfying a thrust demand of the engine, the first parameter having a first impact on the clearance gap, the second parameter having a second impact on the clearance gap, the first impact being greater than the second impact.

  • Patent number: 11977843
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program code for intelligent data discovery with dynamic ontology are provided. According to one illustrative embodiment, the method using a number of processors to perform the steps of: identifying a set of data items in unstructured content using a dynamic data schema populated from a dynamic ontology; and responsive to identifying a data item that is not recognized in the data schema: storing the data item with labels; generating a weight for the data item; and responsive to the weight exceeding a threshold, updating the schema to include the data item that was not recognized.

  • Publication number: 20210394398
Abstract: A recycling and fabrication appliance is provided. The recycling and fabrication appliance is generally configured to convert solid waste, solid materials and/or solid objects into a usable or reusable product. The recycling and fabrication appliance generally comprises a single unit with one or more inputs and one or more outputs. The unit may be a cuboid, or may be any appropriate shape, and may specifically be configured to recycle or repurpose solid waste, solid materials or solid objects into a reusable form at or near the point of consumption or disposal, such as a household or office. The components of the recycling and fabrication appliance may be housed within the unit and may enable the recycling and fabrication appliance to receive various solid waste pieces as an input and to produce a single usable output, referred to herein as a output object.
