  • Patent number: 11669246
Abstract: Method and system are provided for storage allocation enhancement of microservices. A method carried out at a microservice orchestrator, includes: categorizing a microservice container, wherein the categorization defines a predicted storage behavior of the microservice container input/output operations; and providing the categorization in association with the microservice container input/output operations to a storage system for use in storage allocation of the input/output operations. A method at a storage controller includes: receiving microservice container input/output operations with an associated categorization, wherein the categorization defines a predicted storage behavior of the microservice container input/output operations; and using the associated categorization for optimizing storage allocation for the input/output operations and/or optimizing garbage collection performance.

  • Publication number: 20190043186
Abstract: A scanner system comprising a plurality of scanners which are spatially separated in both transverse and longitudinal directions relative to a workpiece flow in the longitudinal direction, the scanners adapted to produce corresponding scanned image data, a transport which moves workpieces in a workpiece flow, the transport including lateral curves in the transverse direction so the transport does not occlude a field of view of the scanners, wherein a first field of view of each scanner spatially separated in the longitudinal direction from a laterally adjacent scanner having a second field of view is adjacent to and abuts against the second field of view, so that the scanned image data produced by each scanner of the plurality of scanners abuts the scanned image data produced by the laterally adjacent scanner, whereby the scanned image data produced by each scanner of the plurality of scanners does not include overlapping image data.

  • Patent number: 9540185
Abstract: The present invention provides a rack stopper system for holding a plurality of components and/or component trays on a rack and then allowing the component trays to be transferred to another rack. The system can include a base, a support bar attached to the base, and a wiper bar pivotally attached to the support bar. The wiper bar can have a stop position that blocks a component and/or a component tray from rolling off of a first rack and a pass position that allows the component and/or component tray to roll off of the first rack and onto a second rack.

  • Publication number: 20110316254
Abstract: The present invention provides for a secondary locking assembly for a towmotor when the towmotor is connected to a dolly. The towmotor includes a first lever pivotally connected to a rear panel of the towmotor. The lever is connected to the rear panel of the towmotor by means of a first pivot point. A sleeve having a second extended lever covers a portion of the first lever. The sleeve abuts the first pivot point of the first lever. The sleeve is pivotally connected about a second pivot point located on the first lever. By clamping the first lever and the second lever together, the sleeve moves from the locked position abutting the first pivot point to an unlocked position wherein the first lever as a whole may be pivotally raised to an unlocked position. The locking assembly further includes an elongated member extending between the first lever and the hitch pin.

  • Patent number: 6404240
Abstract: A three state phase frequency lock detector (14) is provided which monitors the UP and DOWN phase pulses generated by a three state phase frequency detector (PFD). The lock detector (14) asserts the lock detect signal when the rising edges of the UP and DOWN phase pulses are phase aligned and un-asserts the lock detect signal for all other relative phases of the UP and DOWN phase pulses. Lock detector (14) is capable of reporting the lock detect signal for each cycle of the UP and DOWN pulses.
