  • Publication number: 20240102848
Abstract: A floor scale (10) intended for use in an environment requiring hygienic cleaning has a load platform (12) that is supported by a frame (18). A pair of foot assemblies 26, positioned along the sides of the frame, anchor the frame to the floor and provide a base from which the frame and load platform may be pivoted about an axis (A) between an operative position in which an upper surface (14) of the load platform is substantially parallel to the floor and a non-operative position in which the upper surface is angled obliquely relative to the floor. In the non-operative position, a footprint (F) of the floor scale is accessible for cleaning, Structural members of the frame and foot assemblies are substantially devoid of horizontal concave surfaces in which liquids could pool. Locking means is provided for the operative position and at least one non-operative position.

  • Patent number: 11915359
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing kernel software driven color remapping of rendered primary surfaces are disclosed. A system includes at least a general processor, a graphics processor, and a memory. The general processor executes a user-mode application, a user-mode driver, and a kernel-mode driver. A primary surface is rendered on the graphics processor on behalf of the user-mode application. The primary surface is stored in memory locations allocated for the primary surface by the user-mode driver and the kernel-mode driver is notified when the primary surface is ready to be displayed. Rather than displaying the primary surface, the kernel-mode driver causes the pixels of the primary surface to be remapped on the graphics processor using a selected lookup table (LUT) so as to generate a remapped surface which stored in memory locations allocated for the remapped surface by the user-mode driver. Then, the remapped surface is displayed.

  • Patent number: 7387275
Abstract: A fishing leader dispenser having in combination a leader spool having leader wrapped thereon and a protective cover which resiliently fits over the leader on the leader spool. This leader spool includes a tubular hub having an enlarged central opening, a pair of spaced apart outwardly extending flanges molded to the circular hub and a finger depression formed on the inner surface of the tubular hub. The protective cover includes a resilient strip formed into a broken annulus presenting two free ends. The protective cover is sized to resiliently fit between the pair of flanges and around the hub covering the leader. The protective cover further has a notch provided along an edge of the resilient strip through which the leader is extended. Finally, the protective cover is provided with an outwardly extending protrusion for manipulating the protective cover positioned over the leader wound on the hub.

  • Publication number: 20070291474
Abstract: An illumination source for illuminating the jaws of a handheld tool near the tool's working tip. At least one LED is mounted on a handheld tool such that when energized, the LED light encircles the tips of the tool's jaws and illuminates the working surface. The illumination source may be permanently integrated with the tool or may be retrofit. A power source and a switch are provided to energize the LEDs. The power source may or may not be serviceable. If the working environment is corrosive or otherwise hazardous, the entire illumination source may be sealed to prevent sparks or corrosion of the internal parts.
