  • Patent number: 11227362
Abstract: Aspects include a multistage collector to receive outputs from plural processing elements. Processing elements may comprise (each or collectively) a plurality of clusters, with one or more ALUs that may perform SIMD operations on a data vector and produce outputs according to the instruction stream being used to configure the ALU(s). The multistage collector includes substituent components each with at least one input queue, a memory, a packing unit, and an output queue; these components can be sized to process groups of input elements of a given size, and can have multiple input queues and a single output queue. Some components couple to receive outputs from the ALUs and others receive outputs from other components. Ultimately, the multistage collector can output groupings of input elements. Each grouping of elements (e.g., at input queues, or stored in the memories of component) can be formed based on matching of index elements.

  • Patent number: 11226242
Abstract: An industrial process temperature transmitter for measuring a temperature of a process medium includes a temperature sensing unit, a compensation circuit, an output circuit and a housing. The temperature sensing unit includes a process temperature sensor and a secondary temperature sensor. A temperature signal that is indicative of the temperature of the process medium is produced based on a process temperature signal output from the process temperature sensor and a secondary temperature signal output from the secondary temperature sensor. The compensation circuit compensates the temperature signal for a response time of the temperature measurement to a change in the temperature of the process medium, and outputs a compensated temperature signal. The output circuit produces a temperature output as a function of the compensated temperature signal. The housing is attached to an exterior of the process vessel and contains the secondary temperature sensor.

  • Patent number: 11228672
Abstract: A layered security suite is disclosed wherein multiple security barriers that prevent the unsanctioned use of a mobile device issued by a controlled-environment facility. The security barriers are implemented along multiple points within the communication path between the mobile device with outside networks, including on the mobile device, on wireless access points that serve data traffic for the mobile device, and a firewall device that monitors all data coming to and from the wireless access points. The barriers on the mobile device prevent the user from performing unsanctioned application and settings changes, including both software and hardware components, while the barrier on the wireless access point detects and prevents unauthorized connections between mobile devices and unsanctioned wireless access points. The firewall device discards packets with unsanctioned internet addresses.

Information associated with a record is received and the record is updated in a database system. A feed item associated with the database system update is generated and provided in the information feed. The feed item includes one or more actionable selections providing a reference to the publisher. Selection of one of the one or more actionable selections causes the publisher to be operable to receive further information associated with the record. The record is capable of being updated based on the further information. In some implementations, the record is a case and the user interface serves as a single interface for all interactions required in solving the case.

  • Patent number: 11226795
Abstract: An efficient state-machine-based pattern matching technique processes tokens in an input queue and identifies patterns in the sequence of tokens that match one or more predetermined input patterns without backtracking. Tokens can include data or no data and a time component. The tokens can be a stream of data generated by a sensor, which transforms a physical property into a digital quantity. The pattern matching technique processes the input queue in a single direction, and does not examine any previously examined token. In an implementation, specific patterns to be matched are specified using a state machine, where the state machine is specified in a state table and operates using a state stack.
