  • Patent number: 12204401
Abstract: Systems and methods for proactive support of computing assets are presented. In contrast to existing techniques of reactive support, the proactive support techniques disclosed herein automatically collect operating data from a plurality of computing devices, analyze the operating data to identify predictive indicators associated with error conditions, identify a subset of affected computing devices that match the predictive indicators, and execute corrective scripts to remediate or avoid such error conditions before problems are experienced on the affected computing devices. The operating data may be used to train a machine learning model in order to identify the predictive indicators associated with each error condition. In some embodiments, the corrective scripts may be automatically generated to adjust operating parameters or applications of the affected computing devices based upon the identified predictive indicators.

  • Patent number: 12206556
Abstract: A control device may be configured to form a network at a unique coordinated startup time. The control device may identify a role assigned to the control device in a previously-formed network that the control device was attached to. The control device may determine a unique coordinated startup time for the control device based on the role assigned to the control device in the previously-formed network. The control device may initiate a network formation procedure at the unique coordinated startup time for the device. For example, the network formation procedure may cause the control device to attach to another control device in the network. • Patent number: 12206798
Abstract: Systems and procedures are provided for tracking hardware components of an IHS (Information Handling System). During factory provisioning of an IHS, an inventory certificate to the IHS is stored to the IHS that includes an inventory identifying factory-installed hardware components of the IHS. Also during the factory provisioning, a record is stored in a component datastore of the factory-installed hardware specified in the inventory certificate. Upon initialization of the delivered IHS, a pre-boot validation environment is initialized on the IHS and the stored inventory certificate is retrieved and used to validate the detected hardware components of the IHS. The results of the validation are then reported to a component datastore, where they are used to identify any transfer of a factory-installed hardware component. The factory datastore is updated in subsequent validations to reflect any detected modifications to the IHS in tracking genuine components.

  • Patent number: 12204557
Abstract: A centralized database management system performs data synchronization with lower bandwidth consumption and higher efficiency using a resizable invertible bloom filter. The system may include a resizable invertible bloom filter module that constructs and maintains invertible bloom filters that are resizable based on a number of differences between different snapshots. The resizable invertible bloom filter module may maintain a list of possible sizes for a resizable invertible bloom filter. The resizable invertible bloom filter module may determine and maintain a list of applicable partition sizes, each partition size being a product of a divisor and a resizing factor. If the number of differences exceeds the number of expected differences and results in failure in decoding, the system may retry a larger size in a set of predetermined sizes. The system may continue to try larger sizes until a minimal size required for successful decoding is found.
