  • Patent number: 12222136
Abstract: An electric water heater has upper and lower electric resistance type heating elements respectively controlled by a single pole, double throw upper thermostat and a single pole, single throw lower thermostat. The upper and lower thermostats are operatively interconnected by a wiring harness having outer conductor end portions that are connected to a terminal block portion of an external junction box to provide the water heater with a variety of heating element operating modes without having to replace either of the thermostats, vary the wiring harness interconnections therebetween, or vary the connection between the outer conductor end portions and the terminal block. The water heater may thus be advantageously manufactured in a single variant that may be easily and quickly modified in the field to selectively alter the heating element control mode of the water heater.

  • Patent number: 12222731
Abstract: Systems and methods for using risk profiles for fleet management of a fleet of vehicles are disclosed. Fleet management may include determining the performance levels of particular vehicle operators. The risk profiles characterize values representing likelihoods of occurrences of vehicle events. The values are based on vehicle event information for previously detected vehicle events. Exemplary implementations may: receive, from a particular vehicle, particular vehicle event information for particular vehicle events that have been detected by the particular vehicle; determine one or more metrics that quantify a performance level of the particular vehicle operator, based on the risk profiles; compare the one or more metrics for the particular vehicle operator with aggregated metrics that quantify performance levels of a set of vehicle operators; and store, transfer, and/or present results of the comparison.

  • Patent number: 12221391
Abstract: A method of retrofitting an existing apparatus for forming concrete products, where the apparatus comprises an existing component located upstream of a product mold and adapted to deliver treated concrete to the product mold, adapts the existing component to treat fresh concrete to be delivered to the product mold by a new component with treated water infused with a concentration of carbon dioxide nanobubbles. The step of adapting comprises adding to the existing component a water delivery system that is configured to direct the treated water into the fresh concrete, where the water delivery system is provided with one or more liquid manifolds configured to dispense the treated water into the fresh concrete to form treated concrete.

  • Patent number: 12225073
Abstract: An online cloud application platform for global navigation of multiple online cloud-based applications is provided. The online cloud application platform is configured to provide a plurality of online cloud-based applications. While providing a current application among the plurality of online cloud-based applications, an event identifying a function request decoupled from a static navigation route is received via a cross-application routing handler. Based on a set of dynamically modifiable configuration data of the online cloud application platform, which application among the plurality of online cloud-based applications to handle the function request is dynamically determined. Based on the set of dynamically modifiable configuration data of the online cloud application platform, a corresponding dynamically determined cross-application navigation route to handle the event is determined.
