Abstract: A data management control and selection system for use with electronic display and preferably touch sensitive devices for video (and often accompanying audio) signal selections available from memory. In the preferred embodiment the system is a screen-spanning and integrated set of visual segments forming a toroid (although other geometric shapes can be used) having arc-shaped segments which extend in length or degrees around the toroid corresponding to the length in minutes and seconds of the video signal selections. The segments of the toroid are also color coded and collected/coordinated to the genre of the video signal selection to which it corresponds. By aligning (rotating or spinning of the toroid by one's finger on the touch sensitive screen or other cursor-like movement and selection mechanism) the selected segment, associated with the video signal selection will be displayed on the display screen.
