    Abstract: A composite siding panel mountable on an exterior wall of a building includes a foam backing member and a siding member attached to the backing member, such as through the use of an adhesive coating. The foam backing member is treated to be dimensionally stable. The resulting composite siding panel is less vulnerable to visual or other defects that may occur when the backing member is not dimensionally stable.
