  • Patent number: 11969142
Abstract: A method of compressing tissue during a surgical procedure is disclosed. The method comprises obtaining a surgical instrument comprising an end effector, wherein the end effector comprises a first jaw and a second jaw, establishing a communication pathway between the surgical instrument and a surgical hub, and inserting the surgical instrument into a surgical site. The method further comprises compressing tissue between the first jaw and the second jaw, determining a location of the compressed tissue with respect to at least one of the first jaw and the second jaw, communicating the determined location of the compressed tissue to the surgical hub, and displaying the determined location of the compressed tissue on a visual feedback device.

  • Patent number: 11954770
Abstract: A system may include a computer readable medium and a processor communicatively coupled to the computer readable medium. The processor may be configured to: obtain a graphical image file, the graphical image file including an image, wherein the image includes a portion including textual characters, wherein each textual character of the textual characters is formed of line segments; and convert the graphical image file to at least one file including hardware directives that when executed cause a recreation of the image of the graphical image file to be drawn, wherein a size of the at least one file is smaller than the graphical image file.

  • Publication number: 20230150687
Abstract: A system and method for flight chart element searching is disclosed. A host computing device is configured to convert PDF flight chart files to SVG flight chart files defined in XML, detect flight chart elements in the SVG flight chart files, convert the SVG flight chart files to flight charts defined in aircraft display hardware directives, and combine the flight charts and flight chart element data into a flight chart database. An aircraft computing device is configured to display a flight chart and a GUI using an aircraft display, and highlight a flight chart element in response to a user searching for and selecting a flight chart element name.

  • Patent number: 11459105
Abstract: A reconfigurable synoptic system utilizes commercial-off-the-shelf components to receive files indicating all of the connected avionics component and defining a weight of each component corresponding to the criticality of the component. The system divides the available display space into boxes that occupy space on the display based to the criticality of the corresponding component. Avionics components may be assemblages of sub-components, in which case the space designated for the component may be further divided according to its sub-components or the space designated for the component may be selectable to produce a similar display of only sub-components.

  • Patent number: 10860294
Abstract: A requirements tracing validation tool analyzes an input corresponding to a requirements tracing set to identify high-level requirements and artifacts, subsystem-level requirements and artifacts, current links tracing between the requirements and the artifacts, and linguistic and logical elements of each identified artifact or link. The tool evaluates each link and provides a confidence level as to the correctness of the link. The tool may recommend additional links not already within the set and evaluate the recommended links for correctness. Further, the tool may evaluate the correctness of a given requirement over time as the requirements tracing set and its environment develops, and offer suggestions for amending the wording of artifacts and links to enhance uniformity and clarity throughout the requirements tracing set and increase the likely correctness of all traces and links within the environment.
