  • Publication number: 20130203595
Abstract: Embodiments include a colloidal mixture comprising a liquid component and a solid component dispersed in the liquid component. The solid component comprises a plurality of fine-solid (FS) particles, and a plurality of phage particles having binding domains, or binding portions thereof, selected to bind to the plurality of FS particles. Embodiments also include methods or making colloids, method for improving the colloidal stability of a mixture, methods for inhibiting the growth of unwanted organisms, storage and shipping systems, and bio-additives.

  • Patent number: 8349328
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel rodent control agents comprising antibodies, or antigen-binding fragments thereof, that bind to proteins expressed in rodents and in particular antibodies or antigen-binding fragments that bind to proteins expressed in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract of rodents, as well as to methods of making such novel rodent control agents. The invention further extends to novel antibodies and antigen-binding fragments for use in rodent control as well as to methods of controlling rodents through the use of such antibodies, antigen binding fragments and novel rodent control agents.

  • Publication number: 20040250313
Abstract: The present invention relates to insecticidal proteins. In a particular embodiment the invention provides an insecticidal protein having the amino acid sequence depicted as SEQ ID No. 1. The invention also provides an insecticidal synergistic protein combination comprising a first insecticidal protein according to the invention in combination with a further protein. Preferably the further protein is an insecticidal crystal endotoxin (CRY) protein Also provided are polynucleotides encoding the proteins and plants which are capable of producing the proteins or protein combination. The proteins according to the invention are particularly suitable for the production of plants which are resistant and/or tolerant to insects.
