Abstract: An insert for a pressure cooker has a single contiguous insert body with a top surface, a bottom surface and a periphery. The insert is able to be placed within the pressure cooker such that the periphery is substantially flush with an inner sidewall of the pressure cooker. Tessellated cavities are formed within the insert body, with each cavity having a substantially polygonal cross-section parallel to the top surface.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a lid for a cooking appliance with a protective shield. One form of a lid comprises a shield; a pressure release valve positioned on a first side of the shield, configured to move between an open position and a closed position; a switch positioned on a second side of the shield; a slider in communication with the switch; and a lever, where a first end of the lever is in communication with the pressure relief valve and a second end of the lever is in communication with the slider. The switch is configured to, when activated, move the slider such that the slider depresses the second end of the lever, thereby raising the first end of the lever and moving the pressure release valve from the closed position to the open position.

Abstract: A pressure cooker includes a cooker body and a lid. The lid is positionable above the cooker body and includes a heater, a fan, a motor, one or more protrusions, a tab, and a connector. The heater is configured to provide heat to the cooker body. The fan is configured to provide air flow to the cooker body. The motor is configured to drive the fan. The first protrusions are configured to lock the lid to the cooker body to preserve pressure in the cooker body. The tab is movable between a first position and a second position to engage or disengage the one or more first protrusions with the cooker body by sliding along a predetermine route. The tab is positioned at a side of the one or more first protrusions opposite to a center of the lid. The connector is coupled to the first protrusions and the tab.

Abstract: An air fryer drawer includes a panel, a fryer basket fixed to the rear side of the panel to receive food to be fried, and a handle disposed at the front side of the panel, the panel being provided with a transparent area through which a user can observe the conditions of the food being fried in the fryer basket. The handle includes a grip handle segment, and is capable of rotating between a first state and a second state relative to the panel, the grip handle segment being located at the front side of the transparent area when the handle is in the first state to facilitate manipulation of the grip handle segment, and the grip handle segment being deviated from the transparent area when the handle is in the second state to facilitate observation of the conditions of the food being fried in the fryer basket.

The locking portion is disposed in one of either the lower surface and the distal end of the handle. The bail is coupled to the handle proximate the distal end of the handle. The bail is movable between an unlocked position and a locked position, and the bail is configured to cooperatively and lockingly engage a locking portion of a second cooking vessel when the bail is in the locked position.

Abstract: A removable lid for selectively sealing a storage vessel is provided, the storage vessel including a base and a continuous sidewall. The removable lid comprises a main body having a bottom surface and a top surface. A tab is movably secured to the main body and the tab is selectively movable between a first position and a second position. A gasket is secured to the bottom surface, and a vent is formed in the gasket. The vent includes an aperture extending from an outer gasket side to an inner gasket side and the vent further includes a vent seal. A sealing protrusion is disposed on the tab. The sealing protrusion includes a sealing face disposed on a distal end of the sealing protrusion, wherein when the tab is disposed in the first position, the sealing face contacts the vent seal and forms a seal with the vent seal to retard fluid flow across the gasket.
