Publication number: 20240113425Abstract: An electronic device may include an antenna and a coaxial cable coupled to the antenna. The coaxial cable may have a signal conductor coupled to an antenna resonating element of the antenna and a ground conductor coupled to an antenna ground of the antenna. Publication number: 20240112088Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for vector-quantized image modeling using vision transformers and improved codebook handling. In particular, the present disclosure provides a Vector-quantized Image Modeling (VIM) approach that involves pretraining a machine learning model (e.g., Transformer model) to predict rasterized image tokens autoregressively. The discrete image tokens can be encoded from a learned Vision-Transformer-based VQGAN (example implementations of which can be referred to as ViT-VQGAN). The present disclosure proposes multiple improvements over vanilla VQGAN from architecture to codebook learning, yielding better efficiency and reconstruction fidelity. The improved ViT-VQGAN further improves vector-quantized image modeling tasks, including unconditional image generation, conditioned image generation (e.g., class-conditioned image generation), and unsupervised representation learning.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 27, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Jiahui Yu, Xin Li, Han Zhang, Vijay Vasudevan, Alexander Yeong-Shiuh Ku, Jason Michael Baldridge, Yuanzhong Xu, Jing Yu Koh, Thang Minh Luong, Gunjan Baid, Zirui Wang, Yonghui Wu

Patent number: 11924308Abstract: A computer system can receive user data from a computing device of a user, and based on the user data, determine that the user will utilize a transport service to arrive at a destination location at a specified time. The system can monitor transport provider availability within a proximity of a current location of the user prior to the specified time. The system can then determine a service request time for the user based at least in part on the transport provider availability, and automatically generate the service request for the user at the service request time to match the user to a transport provider.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2023Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Uber Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Gang Cheng, Jason Chionh, Jonathan Kantrowitz, Oren Freiberg, Juncao Li, Jie Zhang

Publication number: 20240070583Abstract: The online concierge system generates task units based on orders and assigns batches of task units to pickers. The online concierge system generates task units based on received orders. The online concierge system generates permutations of these task units to generate candidate sets of task batches. The online concierge system scores each of these candidate sets, and selects a set of task batches to assign to pickers based on the scores. Additionally, to determine which task UI to display to the picker, the picker client device uses a UI state machine. The UI state machine is a state machine where each state corresponds to a task UI to display on the picker client device. The state transitions between the UI states of the UI state machine indicate which UI state to transition to from a current UI state based on the next task unit in the received task batch.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Amod Mital, Sherin Kurian, Kevin Ryan, Shouvik Dutta, Jason He, Aneesh Mannava, Ralph Samuel, Jagannath Putrevu, Deepak Tirumalasetty, Krishna Kumar Selvam, Wei Gao, Xiangpeng Li

Patent number: 11911596Abstract: Disclosed are techniques to establish initial settings for an automatic insulin delivery device. An adjusted total daily insulin (TDI) factor usable to calculate a TDI dosage may be determined. The adjusted TDI factor may be a TDI per unit of a physical characteristic of the user (e.g., weight) times a reduction factor. The adjusted TDI factor may be compared to a maximum algorithm delivery threshold. Based on the comparison result, the application or algorithm may set a TDI dosage and output a control signal. Blood glucose measurement values may be collected from a sensor over a period of time. A level of glycated hemoglobin of the blood may be determined based on the obtained blood glucose measurement values. In response to the level of glycated hemoglobin, the set TDI dosage may be modified. A subsequent control signal including the modified TDI dosage may be output to actuate delivery of insulin.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2023Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: INSULET CORPORATIONInventors: Joon Bok Lee, Mengdi Li, Jason O'Connor, Yibin Zheng
