  • Publication number: 20230011396
Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for providing personalized and contextualized environment security information. An implementation may comprise collecting a plurality of sensor data from a plurality of sensors located in an environment, detecting a security event in the environment based on at least a portion of the plurality of sensor data, and generating contextual information for the security event based on at least a larger portion of the plurality of sensor data. The implementation may further comprise detecting a first user accessing security information for the environment on an output device, retrieving a user profile of the first user, and generating a remediation conversation based on the user profile, the security event, and the contextual information. The implementation may further comprise outputting at least a first portion of the remediation conversation on the output device.

  • Publication number: 20230009081
Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for providing evacuation guidance. An implementation may comprise identifying a person physically present in an environment requiring an evacuation. The implementation further includes detecting, using at least one sensor in the environment, a last known location of the person. The implementation further includes calculating an exit time for evacuating the environment based on the last known location. The implementation further includes monitoring, using at least one sensor located at an egress point of the environment, whether the person has evacuated the environment. The implementation further includes determining whether a current time has passed the exit time. The implementation further includes transmitting an alert to a device of the respective person in response to determining that the current time has passed the exit time and that the person has not evacuated the environment.

  • Publication number: 20220414602
Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for managing collaborations in an operation control center. An implementation may comprise identifying, using at least one sensor, a plurality of persons in an operation control center comprising a display device. The implementation may comprise retrieving, from memory, user profiles of a first person and a second person, wherein the user profiles respectively indicate security access rights and responsibilities of the first person and the second person and determining locations of the first person and the second person in the operation control center. The implementation may comprise allocating, on the display device, a first display area to the first person and a second display area to the second person based on the locations, the security access rights, and the responsibilities. The implementation may comprising notifying the first person or the second person of a security event on a display area.

  • Publication number: 20220068070
Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for granting entry through a checkpoint. The implementations include receiving a request for entry of a person through a checkpoint. The implementations include estimating, via a thermal sensor, a body surface temperature of the person, and generating, via a user interface, a notification that prompts the person to answer at least one verification question. The implementations include receiving, via the user interface, at least one user response to the at least one verification question. The implementations include determining whether the at least one user response and the body surface temperature match criteria for gaining entry through the checkpoint. Additionally, the implementations include granting the request for entry in response to determining that the at least one user response and the body surface temperature match the criteria.

  • Patent number: 11204281
Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for determining a set of temperature readings of a person attempting to proceed beyond an area. The implementations further include detecting the person entering the area and detecting a facial area of the person. The implementations further include sending location information of the facial area to a sensing device. The implementations further include generating a thermal image of the person and determining a first set of temperature readings. The implementations further include determining a first set of temperature differences comprising one or more temperature differences between the temperature readings in the first set. The implementations further include determining whether one or more of the temperature differences in the first set does not satisfy a threshold and generating a notification in response to the determination.

  • Patent number: 10013826
Abstract: An identity token based access control system and method is disclosed. A distributed security system that manages access to business and/or governmental entities creates an identity credential for a user and obtains or generates a globally unique identity token for the user, and loads the identity credential and the identity token onto a user device. The user then presents the user device including the identity credential and the identity token to an access control system (ACS) of the security system of the business entity that generated the identity token to obtain access to its security system, or to an ACS of a security system of one or more third party business entities that support the use of identity tokens to obtain access to the security systems of the third party business entities. The identity tokens are preferably random numbers or strings. The identity credentials typically include biometric information for users.

  • Publication number: 20170195336
Abstract: A credentialing system comprises an identity source storing identity attributes for users, identity wallets for users that enable access to the identity attributes in the identity source, and identity brokers for accessing the identity source on behalf of access control systems of organizations. This system can address both the data privacy and trust issues allowing a non-authoritative identity source in a distributed environment to be used for all identity purposes through the ability to broker the identity and attributes of the identity across any number of physical or logical credentials and across different organizations. The system further implements an identity score stored along with identity attributes. The score rates the strength of the identity from the global non-authoritative source.

  • Patent number: 9463954
Abstract: A system and method for an access control system for an elevator system that overrides landing matrices that define the access to the floors in the elevator system. The system overrides the landing matrices of the access control system in response to conditions defined by security system operators, such as emergency situations, and sends the landing matrices to elevator controllers for controlling the access to the floors. In examples, the system supports configuration of vendor-neutral landing matrix objects sent to the access control system over a security network for creating new landing matrices, and overriding the contents of the existing landing matrices.
