  • Patent number: 12287216
Abstract: An in-vehicle control system for providing an energy consumption map for a vehicle is provided. The method includes displaying, on a display of a computing system of the vehicle, a map of an environment external to the vehicle. The map includes a predicted drive path extending between an initial location of the vehicle and a final destination of the vehicle within the environment. The method further includes generating, by the computing system, and based on the predicted drive path, a prediction of the energy consumption of the vehicle along the one or more trajectories of the predicted drive path, and displaying, on the display of the computing system, the predicted energy consumption of the vehicle along the one or more trajectories of the predicted drive path. The predicted energy consumption of the vehicle is displayed so as to at least partially overlay the predicted drive path.

  • Patent number: 12165513
Abstract: Various embodiments provide recommendations for a parking area for a vehicle. Information regarding an object within a specified area is detected by a sensor of the vehicle. The specified area is divided into a plurality of tiles. Based on the information regarding the object, one or more of the tiles is classified as unobstructed tiles. Based on the one or more unobstructed tiles and a footprint of the vehicle, a parking area for the vehicle is identified within the specified area. The footprint of the vehicle fits inside the parking area. A visualization associated with the parking area is generated.

  • Patent number: 12085402
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods for tracking off-road travel. In an illustrative embodiment, a system includes a computing device having computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions configured to cause the computing device to monitor a vehicle location. The vehicle location is identified on map data for an area encompassing the location and including road data for recognized roads in the area. Off-road travel is detected in response to determining that the vehicle location is outside of the recognized roads. Travel data is recorded representing the off-road travel of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240280368
Abstract: Systems and methods are presented herein for generating energy consumption predictions for a vehicle, providing feedback on how to improve a rate of energy consumption of the vehicle, and generating recommendations (e.g., coaching) for improving an efficiency of energy consumption as a vehicle traverses a route (e.g., an off-road course). One or more of a rate of energy consumption of a vehicle or an amount of energy to be consumed by a vehicle arranged to traverse a route is predicted. Then one or more recommendations are provided to improve an efficiency of energy consumed by the vehicle while traversing the route. In response to determining the vehicle has completed the route, at least one recommendation is generated for improving an efficiency of energy consumption for a subsequent trip along the route.
