  • Patent number: 10339493
Abstract: Described is a system and method for presenting event information to a user and, if necessary, obtaining confirmation of different aspects (user, item, action) of the event. In some implementations, an event includes a user, an action, and an item. For example, an event may include a user picking an item from an inventory location, a user placing an item into a tote associated with the user, etc. if the aspects of the event cannot be determined with a high enough degree of confidence, a user interface may be generated and sent to the user requesting confirmation of one or more of the aspects of the event.

  • Patent number: 10330401
Abstract: A device for coupling to a heat source, the device includes thermoelectric elements and a coupling magnet. The thermoelectric elements harvest heat to generate electric current. The coupling magnet provides a coupling force between the thermoelectric elements and the heat source. The coupling magnet regulates thermal flow between the thermoelectric elements and the heat source as a function of temperature of the coupling magnet. The device acts to protect the thermoelectric elements and other associated components from heat damage that might otherwise occur if the heat source generates too much heat.

Abstract: A radar system includes an image forming circuit that provides a two-dimensional image of an operating environment. The image includes pixel elements representative of the operating environment. The system includes at least one filter configured to convert the two-dimensional image into a clutter classification map of clutter regions. A predetermined number of clutter regions are selected as training cells for a predetermined cell-under-test (CUT). A space-time adaptive processor (STAP) is configured to derive a weighted filter from training cell data. The STAP applies the weighted filter to a digital return signal associated with the predetermined CUT to provide a STAP-filtered digital return signal having the clutter signal components substantially eliminated therefrom.

  • Patent number: 10305577
Abstract: A high-linearity linearizer system includes a multi-stage linearizer circuit formed by cascading multiple linearizer circuits. The multi-stage linearizer circuit is configured to pre-distort an input signal to generate a pre-distorted signal. A non-linear high-power amplifier (HPA) having non-linear characteristics is coupled to the multi-stage linearizer circuit and is configured to amplify the pre-distorted signal. Pre-distortion characteristics of the multi-stage linearizer circuit are configured to counter the non-linear characteristics of the non-linear HPA and to compensate a non-linearity of the non-linear HPA to achieve a desired level of linearity.
