    Abstract: A modular seat back storage system for storing a case in conjunction with a vehicle seat. The case is received in a rigid pocket secured within a recess formed between the seat back shell and foam bun of the vehicle seat. The case may alternatively be received in a rigid pocket that is mounted to the rear facing surface of the seat back shell. The case may be used to store a wide variety of objects and may function as a diaper bag, brief case, portable desk, tool case, picnic basket or back pack. Different cases could be provided and interchanged with difference cases for different particularized storage functions.

    Abstract: A handle assembly for a lift gate of a vehicle is movable between a stowed position and an extended position. The handle has a grip section and two legs extending from the grip section. The handle is secured within a pocket of an inside panel of the lift gate with the two legs of the handle being pivotally secured to two sides of the pocket. In the stowed position, the grip section is retained within the pocket. In the extended position, the grip section is extended from the pocket. The force of gravity causes the handle to move between the stowed position and extended position as the lift gate is closed and opened, respectfully. A tail gate has handle that is rotatable mounted within a tail gate handle recess pocket.

    Abstract: A tray table for a vehicle that is extensible from and may be stored in a center console. The center console has longitudinally shiftable lateral side walls that define a pocket for storing the tray table. The lateral walls of the center console are moveable along a track to permit fore and aft adjustment of the location of the table relative to a seat in the vehicle. A push button is provided on a pivot locking mechanism to lock and unlock a tray support arm. A cup holder may be provided on the tray support arm that is moveable between a storage position in which it is parallel to the tray support arm and a use position in which it is perpendicular to the tray support arm.

A frame for storing removable trays, bins or the collapsible cart may be used to store objects above the load floor.
