  • Patent number: 12759101
Abstract: A system for removing a cap seal from a fastener, includes a seal remover including fingers outwardly extending from a base. The fingers include one or more first fingers and one or more second fingers. The one or more first fingers are sized, shaped, or configured differently than the one or more second fingers. Passages are defined between the fingers. The seal remover is configured to be coupled to a distal end of an operative portion of a tool. The tool is configured to be operated to rotate the seal remover in relation to the cap seal so that the fingers remove the cap seal from the fastener. Removed portions of the cap seal are discharged through and out of the passages.

  • Publication number: 20260058447
Abstract: A line management device for guiding local distribution of a utility line includes a main body with a middle portion, a first end portion and a second end portion. The middle portion includes a first end, a second end and a contoured surface extending between the first end and the second end. The contoured surface directs the utility line in relation to an object in a local environment. The first end portion abuts the first end of the middle portion and includes a first exterior surface shaped to direct the utility line toward the middle portion and to obstruct the utility line from passing over the first end portion. The second end portion abuts the second end of the middle portion and includes a second exterior surface shaped to direct the utility line toward the middle portion and to obstruct the utility line from passing over the second end portion.

  • Publication number: 20250361000
Abstract: Methods comprise removing a to-be-elevated floorboard of an aircraft floor to create a void; following the removing, operatively placing an aircraft floorboard riser in engagement with floorboards adjacent to the void; and following the operatively placing the aircraft floorboard riser, operatively placing the to-be-elevated floorboard atop the aircraft floorboard riser.

  • Patent number: 12420905
Abstract: Modular aircraft floorboard riser systems are provided for assembling an aircraft floorboard riser for operatively elevating a to-be-elevated floorboard above adjacent floorboards of an aircraft floor. Modular aircraft floorboard riser systems comprise a plurality of riser panels. Each riser panel comprises a first panel portion having a first-panel-portion outer edge region, and a second panel portion slidingly coupled to the first panel portion and having a second-panel-portion outer edge region opposite the first-panel-portion outer edge region. The first-panel-portion outer edge region of each riser panel is configured to be selectively coupled to the second-panel-portion outer edge region of another riser panel, such that a selection of the plurality of riser panels is configured to be operatively assembled into the aircraft floorboard riser having a polygonal shape.

  • Patent number: 10590298
Abstract: A method of making a coating applied to an article is provided. The method includes preparing at least one substrate on the article to be coated, to obtain at least one prepared substrate. The method further includes preparing the coating, obtained by disposing a plurality of high density metal pellets in an adhesive material, to form a metal adhesive matrix, and adding a polymer material over the metal adhesive matrix. The plurality of high density metal pellets is in an amount of at least 90% (ninety percent) by weight of the total weight percent of the coating. The method further includes applying the coating to the prepared substrate, to obtain a mass-enhanced, coated article. The coating thickness and the amount of high density metal pellets are sufficient to provide an attenuation of vibration of the coated article and a reduced risk of unwanted ergonomic effects.

  • Patent number: 10414949
Abstract: A coating applied to an article is provided. The coating has an adhesive material, in contact with at least one substrate of the article. The coating has a plurality of high density metal pellets disposed in the adhesive material. The high density metal pellets are in an amount of at least 90% by weight of the total weight percent of the coating, and each high density metal pellet has a diameter of at least 0.04 inch. The coating further has a polymer material. The coating is applied to the at least one substrate of the article to obtain a mass-enhanced, coated article. The coating has a coating thickness of at least 0.25 inch.
