  • Publication number: 20250068166
Abstract: A processor coupled to memory is configured to receive an identification of a geographical location associated with a target specified by a user remote from a vehicle. A machine learning model is utilized to generate a representation of at least a portion of an environment surrounding the vehicle using sensor data from one or more sensors of the vehicle. At least a portion of a path to a target location corresponding to the received geographical location is calculated using the generated representation of the at least portion of the environment surrounding the vehicle. At least one command is provided to automatically navigate the vehicle based on the determined path and updated sensor data from at least a portion of the one or more sensors of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12222136
Abstract: An electric water heater has upper and lower electric resistance type heating elements respectively controlled by a single pole, double throw upper thermostat and a single pole, single throw lower thermostat. The upper and lower thermostats are operatively interconnected by a wiring harness having outer conductor end portions that are connected to a terminal block portion of an external junction box to provide the water heater with a variety of heating element operating modes without having to replace either of the thermostats, vary the wiring harness interconnections therebetween, or vary the connection between the outer conductor end portions and the terminal block. The water heater may thus be advantageously manufactured in a single variant that may be easily and quickly modified in the field to selectively alter the heating element control mode of the water heater.

  • Publication number: 20250027931
Abstract: Methods are described herein for screening an antibody producing cell within a microfluidic environment. The antibody producing cell may be a B cell lymphocyte, which may be a memory B cell or a plasma cell. An antigen of interest may be brought into proximity with the antibody producing cell and binding of the antigen by an antibody produced by the antibody producing cell may be monitored. Methods of obtaining a sequencing library from an antibody producing cell are also described.

  • Patent number: 12156939
Abstract: A “nanolipogel” is a delivery vehicle including one or more lipid layer surrounding a hydrogel core, which may include an absorbent such as a cyclodextrin or ion-exchange resin. Nanolipogels can be constructed so as to incorporate a variety of different chemical entities that can subsequently be released in a controlled fashion. These different incorporated chemical entities can differ dramatically with respect to size and composition. Nanolipogels have been constructed to contain co-encapsulated proteins as well as small hydrophobic drugs within the interior of the lipid bilayer. Agents incorporated within nanolipogels can be released into the milieu in a controlled fashion, for example, nanolipogels provide a means of achieving simultaneous sustained release of agents that differ widely in chemical composition and molecular weight. Additionally, nanolipogels can favorably modulate biodistribution.

  • Patent number: 12149528
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a system and method for securely authenticating a device via token(s) and/or verification computing device(s). A verification computing device may generate a pseudorandom number or sequence. Based on the pseudorandom number or sequence, the verification computing device may select a first plurality of parameters associated with a user of a device to be authenticated. The verification computing device may transmit, to the device, the pseudorandom number or sequence, and the device may select a second plurality of parameters. The device may generate a token based on the second plurality of parameters. The device may send the token to another device, and the other device may send the token to the verification computing device. The verification computing device may authenticate the device based on the token.

  • Patent number: 12052221
Abstract: Connecting to an unsecured wired or wireless network poses severe security and privacy risks. An individual application such as a mobile online banking application address this by using point to point private network connections. Browsers, however, generally do not use point to point private network connections and depend on the target website to establish a secure connection. Providing a secure connection that is the default for all network access and that encrypts all over the air or over the wire traffic mitigates these risks. However, virtual client networks (VPNs) client applications can be difficult to set up and need to be always on to ensure that all network activity is secure. By embedding a VPN capability and automating the connection process, a safe and secure network connection can be made available to users of computing devices.
