  • Patent number: 11909876
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein allow multiple providers to answer for DNS while having DNSSEC enabled for the same zone. To do so, the system shares DNSKEY records between autonomous DNS vendors. Sharing DNSKEY records allows customers to use multiple DNS providers with DNSSEC enabled without sharing private keys amongst providers.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 20, 2024
Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)
    Inventor: Jason Paul Larrew
  • Patent number: 11902242
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided herein to enable an authoritative DNS zone to utilize a forwarding service to resolve domain names that cannot be resolved by the authoritative DNS zone.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 11803570
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide selective synchronization of DNS records. A synchronization data store is synchronized by: obtaining a complete set of domain name system (DNS) records for a first data center; and copying the complete set of DNS records to the synchronization data store. After the synchronization data store is initialized, at a particular time interval, a snapshot of the complete set of DNS records is repeatedly collected. Differences between the copied complete set of DNS records of the synchronization data store and the snapshot of the complete set of DNS records are identified. The synchronization data store is updated with the differences and a determination is made as to whether the differences should be implemented at a second data center. When the differences should be implemented at the second data center, the differences are propagated to the second data center, otherwise they are not.

  • Patent number: 11297133
Abstract: A first computer transmits a respective first command to each of a plurality of second computer systems. Each first command includes instructions to initiate one or more virtual machine instances on the respective second computer system. Each virtual machine instance is configured to retrieve data from a third computer system over a communications network, cache the retrieved data, and transmit the cached data to one or more client computers over the communications network in response to a request for the cached data by the one or more client computers. The first computer system also transmits configuration data to each of the second computer systems. The configuration data includes indications of one or more parameters associated with retrieving the data from the third computer system, caching the retrieved data, and/or transmitting the cached data to the one or more client computers.

  • Patent number: 9753958
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable and executable instructions are provided for providing a device agnostic active/active data center. Providing a device agnostic active/active data center can include receiving user communication assigned from a content delivery network (CDN) provider. In addition, providing a device agnostic active/active data center can include determining a designated database for the user communication. Furthermore, providing a device agnostic active/active data center can include assigning a destination address to the designated database for the user communication.
