    Abstract: The presently disclosed systems and methods provide monitoring systems and methods for assessing risk based on individual risk control categories. In an embodiment, the risk is assessed based on data for a particular control category. A subset of the data is weighted according to a first weighting function, and a different subset of the data is weighted according to a second weighting function. The weighted data is combined to generate a control health index that may be used to assess risk.
