Abstract: Aspects of the subject matter described herein relate to publishing content via e-mail. In aspects, a user configures a publishing component to enable photos to be published to an album via e-mail. The user may indicate valid e-mail addresses from which e-mails may be sent to publish to the album. A keyword is associated with the album. The keyword is used to generate an e-mail address associated with the album. This e-mail address is provided to the user. The user may then publish photos to the album by sending e-mails conveying photos to the e-mail address. The server hosting the album may verify that the e-mail came from a valid e-mail address.
