Patent number: 12267373Abstract: Systems and methods for identification of a client device location during an emergency are provided herein. In an example, a method includes receiving, by a video conference provider, a request to initiate an emergency beacon and determining, by the video conference provider, a first client device associated with the request. The method may also include activating, by the video conference provider, the emergency beacon for the first client device and establishing, by the video conference provider, a virtual session based on the emergency beacon. The method may also include joining, by the video conference provider, the first client device to the virtual session without input from the first client device and transmitting, by the video conference provider, a request to join an authorized device to the virtual session.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2022Date of Patent: April 1, 2025Assignee: Zoom Communications, Inc.Inventors: Thanh Le Nguyen, Curtis Wayne Palmer, Jason Ramirez, Jeffrey Stanley

Publication number: 20250073129Abstract: A lid for inactivating or otherwise deterring use of a medication in a medication container is disclosed. The lid has a body that is configured to be secured to the medication container. A receptacle has a deterrent composition therein. A sharp object is movable from a first position that is spaced from the receptacle to a second position in which the sharp object punctures the receptacle. A controller is operable to: initiate a timer having a set duration; and cause the sharp object to move from the first position to the second position upon expiration of the set duration of the timer. A compression assembly applies a pressure to the receptacle so that, when the sharp object moves from the first position to the second position to puncture the receptacle, the compression assembly facilitates flow of the deterrent composition from the receptacle.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 5, 2024Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: Jason Ramirez, Taylor Wahlig, Alison Quinn, Mark Drinkwater, John T. Miller, Brian Burkhardt

Publication number: 20230421515Abstract: Systems and methods for integrating a messaging client application with a content management system are provided. In some examples, a method can include receiving messaging content at a content management system from a messaging client application via an application programming interface, the content management system and the messaging client application being on different cloud-based systems. The method can include associating the messaging content with a workspace in the content management system, the workspace including a plurality of users that are authorized to access the workspace to collaborate with each of the plurality of users. The method can further include providing access to the messaging content to the plurality of users that are authorized to access the workspace of the content management system. The method also can include embedding the messaging content in the workspace of the content management system.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 30, 2023Publication date: December 28, 2023Inventors: Jason Ramirez, Jennifer DiZio, Erica Jayne Walsh, Ming Li, Yenchi Lin
