  • Publication number: 20190391703
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to interactive projection systems. In one implementation, a system for projecting a user interface may include a film affixed to a surface; a first projector configured to project a user interface onto the film; a second projector configured to project a plurality of light beams such that the plurality of light beams form a plane above the film that does not intersect the film; and an image sensor configured to receive reflections caused by the projected plurality of light beams. The system may further include at least one processor configured to receive an indication of a reflection from the image sensor; determine a location associated with the reflection; in response to the received indication, determine a change for the user interface based on the determined location; and transmit a command to the first projector to modify the projected user interface according to the determined change.

  • Publication number: 20190385230
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for generating real-time quotes using machine learning algorithms. The system may include a processor in communication with a client device, and a storage medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to perform operations including: receiving an image of a vehicle from the client device, extracting one or more features from the image, based on the extracted features and using a machine learning algorithm, identifying one or more attributes of the vehicle, based on the identified attributes of the vehicle, determining a make and a model of the vehicle, obtaining comparison information based at least in part on the determined make and model, estimating a quote for the vehicle based on the comparison information; and transmitting the estimated quote for display on the client device.

  • Patent number: 10496936
Abstract: Systems and methods for preventing machine learning models from negatively affecting mobile devices are provided. For example, a mobile device including a camera, memory devices, and one or more processors are provided. In some embodiments, the processors may be configured to provide images captured by the camera to a machine learning model at a first rate. The processors may also be configured to determine whether one or more of the images includes an object. If one or more of the images includes the object, the processors may be further configured to adjust the first rate of providing the images to the machine learning model to a second rate, and in some embodiments, determine whether to adjust the second rate of providing the images to the machine learning model to a third rate based on output received from the machine learning model.

  • Patent number: 10431098
Abstract: A computer system receives a request to locate a vehicle within a facility. The computer system parses the request to identify one or more characteristics of the vehicle. The computer system identifies a sensor corresponding to the vehicle based on the one or more characteristics of the vehicle. The computer system identifies a most recent location of the vehicle based on the last registered position of the vehicle within the facility. The computer system transmits a signal to a parking spot sensor at the most recent location of the vehicle in the facility. The computer system receives the unique identification. The computer system determines that the unique identification of the vehicle sensor co-located with the parking spot sensor matches the sensor of the requested vehicle. The computer system reports to the user a current location of the vehicle within the facility based on a location of the parking spot sensor.

  • Publication number: 20190285181
Abstract: A novel sealing member and a novel wedging element that may be part of a novel seal assembly. The seal assembly may remain effective for more connection/disconnection cycles as compared to the previously known seals. In exemplary embodiments, the wedging element may engage the sealing member or a pair of the sealing members that sandwich the wedging element. When engaged, an inclined surface of the wedging element may radially compress a radially inwardly extending sealing leg of one or both of the sealing members. A fluid pressure opposite the wedging element relative to the corresponding sealing member may radially expand a radially outwardly extending sealing leg of one or both of the sealing members.

  • Publication number: 20190279270
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide devices, methods, and computer-readable storage media for determining information of an object from a captured image. Further, the disclosed device responds to a user input by capturing, with the camera, image data representing an object. The device then transmits, via a messaging application through a network interface to a server, the image data and a request for information relating to the object. The object information is received via the messaging application through the network from the server and is displayed on the display screen.
