  • Patent number: 10976986
Abstract: A system and method for forwarding an application user interface from a first computing platform to a second computing platform. The application user interface is generated using source content. The application user interface is encoded into two or more encoded content streams where the two or more encoded content streams contain source content representable as the application user interface and composition metadata associated with the application user interface. The two or more encoded content stream are sent to the second computing platform. The two or more encoded content streams are received where the two or more encoded content streams contain information reproducible as the application user interface. The two or more encoded content streams are decoded. The application user interface is generated using the two or more decoded content streams and composition metadata associated with the two or more decoded content streams.

  • Publication number: 20170249772
Abstract: A system and method for accelerated rendering of two-dimensional graphics may receive two or more two-dimensional graphical objects. Display characteristics associated with a target display may be received. Two or more three-dimensional graphical objects may be generated from the two or more two-dimensional graphical objects responsive to the received display characteristics where each of the generated three-dimensional graphical objects has a derived generation error that is below a generation error threshold. A scene graph associated with the two or more three-dimensional graphical objects may be created. A graphical layout associated with the two or more three-dimensional graphical objects may be created. The two or more three-dimensional graphical objects may be sent to a three-dimensional graphical renderer responsive to the graphical layout and the scene graph.

  • Patent number: 9703370
Abstract: A method and a device is disclosed, whereby the device can be a first electronic device. The first electronic device is adapted to be coupled to a second electronic device. The method comprises at the first electronic device certain steps which can be performed by a processor of the first electronic device. In particular, there is a step of generating first data for display at the first electronic device pertaining to an application executable on the first electronic device. Also, there is the step of receiving a signal at the first electronic device from a second electronic device in response to an event detected at the second electronic device. Finally, in response to the received signal, there is modifying the first data, and generating second data for display at the second electronic device pertaining to the application and sending the second data to the second electronic device.
