  • Publication number: 20220011415
Abstract: A staging system has to be calibrated to determine a location of a horizontal pivot axis of a target frame. A stage calibration light beam is generated and reflected from a target frame mirror. The target frame is pivoted between first and second positions and the locations of the stage calibration light beam are detected. The locations of the stage calibration light beam provide a value representing an orientation of the target frame mirror relative to the horizontal pivot axis. The orientation of the target frame mirror is then adjusted based on the value so that the target frame mirror is more normal to the horizontal pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 9122707
Abstract: An apparatus for enabling provision of a localized virtual reality environment may include at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured, with the processor, to cause the apparatus to perform at least receiving information indicative of a current location of a mobile terminal, receiving information indicative of an orientation of the mobile terminal with respect to the current location, causing a stored image including a panoramic view of the current location to be displayed at the mobile terminal based on the orientation, and enabling provision of a virtual object on the panoramic view. A corresponding method and computer program product are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9071709
Abstract: An apparatus for enabling provision of collaboration of remote and on-site users of indirect augmented reality may include at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured, with the processor, to cause the apparatus to perform at least selecting a stored image including a virtual representation of a real world location based on position information and orientation information of a mobile terminal, causing provision of first visual content to be displayed at the mobile terminal based on the virtual representation, causing provision of second visual content to be displayed at a remote device based on the virtual representation, and enabling collaborative interaction between a user of the mobile terminal and a user of the remote device with respect to the first visual content and the second visual content. A corresponding method and computer program product are also provided.
