    Abstract: A contactless charging system for an electric musical instrument includes an instrument stand configured to support a musical instrument, and which includes a contactless charging port configured for connection to a power source such as an electric wall outlet. A charging circuit module is configured for incorporation within the musical instrument, and includes a second contactless charging port in physical electrical contact with circuit elements configured to provide at least one predetermined voltage to at least one rechargeable portable power supply. The second contactless charging port is configured for contactless charging engagement with the first contactless charging port, so that the second port receives power from the power source when the instrument is placed in the stand.
