  • Publication number: 20250022449
Abstract: A mounting device configurable to hold a plurality of pickups in a stringed instrument noninvasively and with minimal vibration. Provided is a means of readily repositioning the pickups vertically, linearly, and radially, resulting in an abundance of immediate tonal options. Further provided is a means of readily adjusting a positional tension to achieve a preferred friction for slanting, sliding, or securing each pickup into position.

  • Patent number: 10641612
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for correcting position error in a navigation system by utilizing user input received via a human-machine interface, where the user input indicates the location of a user as perceived by the user. The navigation system includes a positioning module, navigation sensors, a map database and a human-machine interface that are employed to calculate and display the current position to the user. The method and apparatus are advantageously used in situations with intermittent or unavailable GPS signal, cumulative navigational sensor errors, and cases where map database information is incorrect. The positioning module receives and processes user input from the human-machine interface and analyzes the user input against the result of a map-matching algorithm to correct positioning errors.

  • Patent number: 9011297
Abstract: This disclosure describes an apparatus and methods to support a punching bag, or a punching bag and rebound platform, within a doorway or other architectural opening. Mounting the apparatus does not involve modifying or altering the supporting architectural structures and surfaces (e.g., with screws, brackets, adhesives, etc.). Clamps are instrumental in safely securing the apparatus and stabilizing it for high-performance use of a plurality of punching bags. Adjustment mechanisms not only facilitate the mounting of the apparatus to a plurality of doorframes and other architraves but also accommodate the height and depth preferences of a user. In addition, a folding mechanism allows the apparatus to be compacted for storage or transport.
