  • Publication number: 20240156600
Abstract: A method and device for placing an epicardial anchor in a heart are described. An anchor placement device includes a tube, a needle formed on a distal end of the tube, an inflatable balloon in proximity to the distal end of the tube, and a control plate located proximally from the inflatable balloon. The anchor placement device is configured to pierce from an endocardium layer of the heart through an epicardium layer of the heart and then inflate the balloon to form an anchor located outside the epicardium layer. Meanwhile, the control plate is configured to abut against the endocardium layer and reduce movement of the tube while the balloon is inflated.

  • Patent number: 11977669
Abstract: Methods and systems for securing data processing systems are disclosed. A data processing system may be operably connected to other devices via ports. When operably connected, some devices connected via the ports may cause undesired actions to be performed. To limit physical access to the ports, a security apparatus may be used to lock the ports. The security apparatus may transition between states where it may be inserted into openings for the ports and may be locked to the openings for the ports. When so locked, physical access to the ports may be limited.

  • Patent number: 11978971
Abstract: Toolless Compression Attached Memory Module (CAMM) installation systems and methods employ a bolster plate with a generally flat, parallelepiped body portion configured to contact one surface of a CAMM Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and provide compression between the CAMM and a z-axis compression connector. The bolster plate body defines (a) ramped keyhole(s), each ramped keyhole converts lateral displacement of the bolster plate into vertical displacement, providing the compression between the CAMM and the z-axis compression connector, by the ramped keyhole(s) sliding along (a) bottom face(s) of (a) head(s) of (a) fixed standoff(s) extending from an information handling system (IHS) PCB, through the z-axis compression connector and the CAMM PCB. The bolster plate may lock in place, laterally displaced, to maintain the compression between the CAMM and the z-axis compression connector. The bolster plate may also have a flange portion extending generally perpendicular from the body portion.

  • Patent number: 11874972
Abstract: Embodiments of a new and innovative method for processing input touch data for a curved touch sensitive surface by converting input touch vectors to position states is disclosed. The method includes receiving an input touch vector based on one or more signals from a plurality of touch sensors; selecting a largest continuous segment of values in the input touch vector that are indicative of a touch sensor being active; and assigning the input touch vector to a position state of a plurality of position states based on one or more index values corresponding to the selected largest continuous segment of values. If there is more than one equally largest continuous segment of values, then the equally largest continuous segment of values is selected that corresponds to one or more sensors furthest from a second end of the curved touch sensitive surface.

  • Publication number: 20230419390
Abstract: Multiple users of a household can each have a different profile associated with a common account for an online concierge system. This association of different profiles with the common accounts allows the concierge system to show a user of the household what other users of the household purchased and rank items for suggestion to the user based one purchases of other users, facilitating order building. The online concierge system also enables a user profile to designate a user profile associated with the common account for an order pickup or as a contact for a home delivery. Additionally, association of different user profiles with the common account may be used for account recovery of one of the user profiles. Further, different user profiles may have different permissions for creating an order with the online concierge system.

  • Publication number: 20230394551
Abstract: An online system provides options for selection by a user. The online system receives a query entered on a client device. The online system queries an item database to retrieve a set of items related to the query and assigns each item to a product category in a predefined taxonomy that maps items to product categories. The online system inputs each item into a prediction model trained to predict a probability that an item is available at a warehouse location. The online system determines that a first product category has low availability based on predicted probabilities for items in the first product category. Responsive to determining that a first product category has low availability, the online system generates a generic item for the first product category and sends a list of items including the generic item to the client device for display responsive to the query.

  • Publication number: 20230385762
Abstract: A system receives an order from one or more user client devices associated with an account of the system, and transmits a first notification to the one or more user client devices that an order is ready for pick up at a pickup location. The system receives location data from a particular user client device of the one or more user client devices. The system determines an outer geofence based in part on a running average time or wait time at the pickup location in a recent time period, a size of the order, or a historical wait time associated with the account. In response to receiving an indication from the particular user client device that a user associated with the particular user has entered the determined outer geofence, the system transmits a second notification to a runner client device.
