    Abstract: A packaging material can include cold seal adhesive on a first side of a substrate, glossy material on a second side of the substrate, and matte material on the glossy material, so that the matte material covers at least a predetermined portion of the glossy material. Each of the glossy and matte materials can be a cold seal release lacquer configured so that when the packaging material is formed into a roll, the cold seal adhesive is releasably adhered to the cold seal release lacquers, the glossy cold seal release lacquer is fixedly adhered to the substrate, and the matte cold seal release lacquer is fixedly cohered to the glossy cold seal release lacquer.
