  • Patent number: 11960911
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for generating content clusters from topic data and focus data, generating content collections from content clusters, storing and restoring desktop scene layouts, and storing and arranging video call scenes. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems generate content clusters based on topic data and focus data associated with content items within a content management system and/or accessed via the internet. The disclosed systems can also generate content collections for a user account of the content management system from the content clusters. In some embodiments, the content scene system can further store and restore desktop scene layouts for arranging application windows presenting content items. Further, the disclosed systems can store and arrange particular desktop scene layouts for video call scenes.

  • Publication number: 20240118464
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed which includes an ultraviolet laser and at least one reflective mirror having a substrate which is made from beryllium, an aluminum metal matrix, or silicon carbide. The at least one mirror is adapted to reflect a laser beam generated from the ultraviolet laser, which can then be used on a silicon film used in the production of an electronic display. The laser beam can be used to anneal the silicon film, or in a laser lift-off process for separating the silicon film from a temporary substrate upon which the silicon film was mounted.

  • Patent number: 10828018
Abstract: The present invention relates devices capable of continuous and simultaneous expression of components of a multi-part biomedical composition with variable mixing ratios. The device has at least two syringes that contain the inter-reactive components of the multi-part biomedical composition. At least the barrel of the first syringe has a first retention compartment having a cross-sectional area dimension that is larger than the cross-sectional area of a second retention compartment. The first piston has a cross-sectional dimension that matches the inside cross-sectional dimension of the small dimensioned retention compartment, while a ring-shaped gasket is located within the large dimensioned retention compartment and has an outside cross-sectional dimension that matches an interior dimension of the large dimension retention compartment.

  • Publication number: 20200038215
Abstract: A transient implantable device for placement within a gastrointestinal tract controls absorption of nutrients. The device includes a float that connects with a bypass tube. The device maintains its position within the gastrointestinal tract by floating on gastric fluid within the stomach. The device is further placed in a way where consumed food can pass around the device normally through the digestive tract, or food can pass through the device. The bypass tube includes a series of openings that are selectively obstructed by a film to control material entering and exiting from the bypass tube.

  • Patent number: 10226569
Abstract: Exoskeletal devices or sleeves that can be used with the delivery tube of an applicator device to help dispense fluids, typically flowable biocompatible materials such as hemostatic agents, adhesives, or sealants, onto specific sites in the human body for a medical reason are disclosed. The exoskeletal devices or sleeves are rigid, pre-shaped, and snappably or slidably affixed to the delivery tube. The exoskeletal devices or sleeves do not come into contact with the flowable biocompatible fluid being dispensed, and they can be placed at any position along the delivery tube to address different application situations. Once the exoskeletal device or sleeve is in place, it can optionally be locked onto the delivery tube to prevent further sliding under stresses when pushed against tissue. Multiple exoskeletal devices or sleeves can also be used to achieve more complicated shapes for hard-to-reach anatomical sites.

  • Publication number: 20140370620
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for selectively detecting a multimer type multimer-forming polypeptide in a biological sample, the method comprising: (a) bringing the biological sample into contact with an agglutination reaction inducing agent to induce the formation of an aggregate in an analysis target, the agglutination reaction inducing agent being a particle in which a specific antibody is surface-bonded with the multimer-forming polypeptide; (b) obtaining an image with respect to the aggregate of step (a); and (c) analyzing a size or a shape of the aggregate by using the image. Step (a), step (b), or steps (a) and (b) are performed on a microchip having a microchannel. The image analysis is performed using a coefficient according to the size of the aggregate in a predetermined volume provided by the microchannel.
