Abstract: This document generally describes computer-based technology to provide health information systems that can be customized for any healthcare specialty and/or application. For example, the disclosed computer-based technology can be used in specialties such as imaging centers, radiology group practices, and/or other ambulatory clinics, and can be used for business, financial, and/or clinical applications (e.g., practice management (PM), radiology information systems (RIS), electronic medical records (EMR), electronic health records (EHR)).
