In some embodiments, the pump includes a piston with an annular body and an annular sealing element disposed radially outward of the annular body. The annular body has a radially-facing outer surface adjacent an inner surface of the sealing element and an axially-facing surface with an inlet port. A flowpath extends between the inlet port and the radially-facing outer surface of the annular body.

Abstract: A cutting template for use in cutting various shapes of various sizes, into or out of a medium. The template can include a sheet with two grooves in the shape of an X that define the edge of a cut shape and markings that define various sizes and permit registration with a medium. The grooves function to guide a cutting instrument that extends through the grooves into the medium to be cut, eliminating any need for tracing a pattern onto the medium. The template can be made of a plastic or similar material sheet that is transparent or translucent to a sufficient degree for a user to see registration markings on the template and the medium upon which the template is placed.

A preferred substrate for the invention includes a sheet of plastic or similar material with two grooves completely through the substrate that define the edge of the shape, and additional markings on the sheet to define sizes and registration. The grooves function to guide a cutting instrument that extends through the sheet into the medium to be cut, eliminating any need for tracing a pattern onto the medium. The plastic or similar material sheet shall be translucent or transparent sufficient to see the registration markings and the material the device is placed upon.
