  • Publication number: 20250058191
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a basketball backboard system and methods of assembly. The backboard system reduces and simplifies the number of steps for a user to take in assembling the system for play. The basketball system comprises a base, a vertical support assembly including a pole, a backboard extension arm, a backboard, and a rim. In some embodiments, the user only has to complete five attachments to fully assemble the system, including securing the vertical support assembly to the base, securing the backboard extension arm to the pole, mounting the backboard to the extension arm, and mounting the rim to the backboard. It is further contemplated that the system will be convenient to package, as the vertical support assembly may be designed to fully nest within the base to reduce product volume.

  • Patent number: 12229303
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing erasure requests are provided, namely requests from users to have their user data erased from a system. The system maintains user data in multiple components which may not be in communication with each other. With the provided system, certain entities, referred to herein as erasure control entities, are informed of details of received erasure requests, and are given the opportunity to provide input on whether they should be executed or note. For example, one erasure control entity, such as a credit card server, may not want an erasure request executed for a user with a large outstanding debt, while another erasure control entity, such as a legal component, may be unaware of this and may not be concerned with the erasure request being executed. The system and method ensure that erasure requests are not executed in situations that are premature or inappropriate.

  • Publication number: 20240271708
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing a slide gate, involving providing a gate body with a first face and integrally forming an integral gate seal with the gate body through a hybrid manufacturing process. The hybrid manufacturing process includes depositing an additive material onto the first face of the gate body to create the integral gate seal, with the deposition carried out by a first machine. Subsequently, the integral gate seal is machined to achieve the desired size and shape, with the machining also performed by the same first machine. This method combines additive manufacturing and machining techniques to efficiently produce slide gates with integral gate seals of precise dimensions and configurations.
