  • Publication number: 20240115867
Abstract: The high-voltage and/or high-frequency pulse dielectric breakdown strength (DBS) of an implantable medical device is increased by strategically positioning insulation materials on or adjacent to the external surfaces of a filter capacitor. Dielectric breakdown strength is further increased by adding polymeric or ceramic nanoscale metal oxide insulative powders to the insulation materials.

  • Publication number: 20240115868
Abstract: A self-centering washer is positioned between the feedthrough and filter capacitor of a filtered feedthrough. The washer has openings through which first and second terminal pins extend. A first opening has an inner arcuate portion contacting the first terminal pin and an outer perimeter portion exposing the braze sealing the terminal pin to the insulator. A second opening has an inner arcuate portion contacting the second terminal pin and an outer perimeter portion exposing the braze sealing the terminal pin to the insulator. In an imaginary configuration with the first and second washer openings superimposed one on top of the other, the cumulative arcuate distance of the inner arcuate portions about one of the terminal pins, subtracting overlap, results in a gap between the superimposed washer openings that is less than a diameter of the first and second terminal pins so that the washer is prevented from lateral movement.

  • Patent number: 11953862
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing an optimal control configuration for a material processing system are provided. In operation, a material processing engine accesses causal graph input data. Causal graph input data includes input data of a continuous flow process. Based on the causal graph and the input data, a causal graph that aligns with do-calculus manipulations—associated with determining identifiable causal relationships corresponding to input materials of the continuous flow process—is generated. The causal graph is parsed based on the do-calculus manipulations to determine valid conditioning sets associated with estimating a causal impact on an optimization target. Based on the valid conditioning sets, an optimal control configuration comprising optimal control variable values is generated.

  • Publication number: 20230110698
Abstract: Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for implementing a shim driver configurable to provide a database driver. A shim driver class is loaded from a class path and instantiated such that a shim driver is generated. A directory path and database driver class name are obtained from a configuration file. An application transmits a request for a database driver via an application programming interface (API) of the shim driver, where the request includes the directory path and database driver class name. The shim driver loads a database driver class identified by the database driver class name using the directory path, instantiates the database driver class such that a first database driver is generated, and provides the first database driver responsive to the request.

  • Publication number: 20230070246
Abstract: A tube-in-tube heat exchanger utilizes a selectively permeable tube having a selective permeable layer to allow the refrigerant to transfer into an ionic liquid to generate heating or cooling. The ionic liquid then provides heating or cooling to a heat transfer fluid through a non-permeable layer or tube. The system may be configured as a shell and tube design, with the third fluid free to flow on the outside of the shell, or as a shell and tube-in-tube, with a central tube containing a first liquid, a second tube containing a second liquid, and an outer shell containing the third liquid. The selectively permeable tube may include an anion or cation selectively permeable layer and this layer may be supported by a support layer or tube.

  • Patent number: 11487900
Abstract: Within one or more instances of a computing environment where an instance is a self-contained architecture to provide at least one database with corresponding search and file system. User information from the one or more instances of the computing environment is organized as zones. A zone is based on one or more characteristics of corresponding user information that are different than the instance to which the user information belongs. User information is selectively obfuscated prior to transmitting blocks of data including the obfuscated user information. The selective obfuscation is based on zone information for one or more zones to which the user information belongs.

  • Publication number: 20220156286
Abstract: Elastic connection pools for database nodes are described. A system receives a user request that references data in a database, and uses the user request to identify a partition of multiple partitions of the database. The system uses the identified partition to identify a database node in a cluster of database nodes. The system uses the identified database node to identify a connection pool of multiple connection pools provided by an application server. If the identified connection pool does not have any available connections to the identified database node, the system uses connection criteria to select another connection pool of the remainder of the connection pools. The system enables the user request to access the referenced data in the identified partition of the database by providing the user request with an available connection, from the other connection pool, to another database node in the cluster.
