  • Patent number: 10713482
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for identifying terms in a document in electronic form which includes: obtaining a document having title cased terms and defined terms; determining the location of each title cased term; accessing a library; comparing the title cased terms to the library of predetermined terms, wherein the title cased term is classified by a first predetermined identifier if the title cased term is not in the library, and wherein the title cased term is not classified by the first predetermined identifier if the title cased term is in the library; and determining each title cased term which is a defined term and a location and frequency of each defined term, wherein each defined term having a frequency value greater than one is reclassified by a second predetermined identifier and wherein each defined term having a frequency value of one is reclassified by a third predetermined identifier.

  • Publication number: 20170018046
Abstract: A computer-assisted method and system for assisting a user in evaluating a set of parameters in an electronic document. The method comprises accessing a first electronic variable data document having a first set of parameters provided by a first user corresponding to a first set of parameters in an electronic negotiated document. Then, the first electronic variable data document is compared to a second electronic variable data document. Differences between the first set of parameters of the first electronic variable data document and a second set of parameters of the second electronic variable data document are identified. The differences are categorized and labeled. A comparison report is generated including the categorized and labeled differences and an interpretation of the identified differences between the first set of parameters of the first electronic variable data document and the second set of parameters of the second electronic variable data document.

  • Publication number: 20070206836
Abstract: A device for the detection of an object on a vehicle seat, including a camera and a processing unit for the generation of a two-dimensional representation of the object is provided. The device also includes at least two illumination sources, which are positioned in such a manner that the object can be illuminated from different directions, and the processing unit is suitable to generate a three-dimensional representation of the object from two dimensional representations, each generated under different illumination conditions.

  • Publication number: 20070070037
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed where a graphic signal is moved and displayed on a screen of a hand-held terminal according to movement of the hand-held terminal If the graphic signal is displayed on the screen, a camera integrally disposed in the hand-held terminal photographs a predetermined object. Feature points of the object are extracted from an image photographed by the camera, and the feature points are utilized to detect a movement of the camera. The graphic signal is moved, enlarged, scaled down or rotated for display on the screen according to the movement of the detected object. Accordingly, the graphic signal can be scrolled, enlarged, scaled down or rotated simply by the movement of the hand-held terminal, thereby precluding a user from the inconvenience of manipulating the graphic signal every time the user intends to display the graphic signal.

  • Publication number: 20050236555
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for generating a computed digital image of a scene, which can be illuminated with different luminous intensities at a first illumination angle by a first light source. An image sensor records a number of individual images of the scene under different lighting conditions, and these images are set against one another in a pixel-by-pixel manner in a data processing device in order to generate a resulting image. The invention is characterized in that at least one additional light source is provided by means of which the scene can be illuminated at an illumination angle that is different from the illumination angle of the first light source. The different lighting conditions when recording the individual images are obtained by various combinations of luminous intensities of the first and of the at least one other additional light source. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the inventive method.
