  • Publication number: 20230276890
Abstract: A safety helmet with a helmet shell, with a bearing ring, with a rotatable actuating element (14) and with a transmission unit (15.1, 15.2). The transmission unit (15.1, 15.2) transmits a rotation of the actuating element to the bearing ring, so that the head size provided is changed. A helmet shell-side transmission piece (15.1) is non-rotatably connected to the actuating element (14) such that they rotate in unison, and a bearing ring-side transmission piece (15.2) is connected mechanically to the bearing ring. The helmet shell-side transmission piece (15.1) can move both relative to the actuating element (14) and relative to the bearing ring-side transmission piece (15.2) linearly in two opposite directions. The distance between the actuating element (14) and the bearing ring can be changed thereby.

  • Publication number: 20210337911
Abstract: A safety helmet (100) includes an arched helmet shell (1), a bearing structure (3, 4.l, 4.r, 5, 6, 8, 10), an inner lining and a plurality of connection units. The inner lining comes into contact with the head of a user of the safety helmet. The bearing structure is attached on the inside to the helmet shell. Each connection unit is capable of detachably connecting the inner lining to the bearing structure. Each connection unit comprises a bearing structure-side component and an inner lining-side component. Each component is configured as exactly one connection type. A bearing structure-side component is connectable to an inner lining-side component if the two components are configured as the same connection type. The two components cannot otherwise be connected to one another or are incapable of establishing a connection between the bearing structure and the inner lining.

  • Publication number: 20210337908
Abstract: A safety helmet (100) includes an arched helmet shell (2), an arched shock-absorbing shell (1), a holding ring (3, 11) and a resilient element (14). The holding ring (3, 11) is permanently connected to the helmet shell (2). The shock-absorbing shell (1) adjoins a holding ring edge. The resilient element (14) is supported at the holding ring (3, 11), projects over the holding ring edge and acts to move the shock-absorbing shell (1) away from the holding ring (3, 11) and to press shock-absorbing shell (1) against the helmet shell (2). A process for manufacturing such a safety helmet (100) is provided. According to the process, first the shock-absorbing shell (1) is placed first into the helmet shell (2) and the holding ring (3, 11) is then attached to the helmet shell (2).

  • Publication number: 20210337915
Abstract: A safety helmet (100) with a helmet shell (7), with a bearing element (5), with at least one holding element (2, 9.l, 9.r, 28) and with a tubular shape textile sheathing. Each holding element (2, 9.l, 9.r, 28) is permanently connected to the helmet shell (7). A distance is present between a holding element (2, 9.l, 9.r, 28) and the head of a user of the safety helmet (100). The bearing element (5) is adjacent to the head. The textile sheathing encloses the bearing element (5) and is located in some areas between the bearing element (5) and the head. The bearing element (5) is detachably connectable to a respective holding element through at least one connection opening in the textile sheathing. A process for removing the textile sheathing from the safety helmet (100), as well as to a process for manufacturing a safety helmet (100) are provided.

  • Publication number: 20210337909
Abstract: A safety helmet (100) includes an arched helmet shell (7), a front holding element (2) attached to the helmet shell (7) and a curved front bearing element (5). The front bearing element lies flat against the forehead of a user of the safety helmet (100). A rigid intermediate piece (1) bridges a distance between the front holding element (2) and the front bearing element (5). This intermediate piece (1) is mechanically connected to the front holding element (2) and to the front bearing element (5), wherein at least one connection is detachable. The present invention pertains, furthermore, to two arrangements with such a safety helmet and with two alternative intermediate pieces or with two alternative front bearing elements with a respective intermediate piece.
