The vehicle may further include a short detection circuit connected to the inverter configured to output an inhibit signal indicative of abnormal electrical behavior to the tristate buffer such that inverter output is disabled. The short detection circuit may out the inhibit signal in response to a high value comparator signal indicating deviation from a high voltage threshold or a low value comparator signal indicating deviation from a ground voltage.

The body may further include a bottom which is opposite the cutting surface. The bottom may rest on a counter top. The cutting board may further include a receptacle support. The receptacle support extends from an end of the body and is angled away from the bottom. The receptacle support includes an inner edge forming an opening in between. A bag may be secured to the receptacle support so that the opening leads into the bag. The receptacle support supports the entrance of the bag in an elevated position relative to the cutting surface to catch food materials pushed towards the opening.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to use of compounds of general formula 1 for anticancerous activity, wherein the said compound being derived semi-synthetically from natural triterpenoic acids known as boswellic acids by the induction of apoptosis thereof cytotoxicity and anti-cancer activity displayed by semi-synthetic analogues of natural triterpenes, known as Boswellic acids. These compounds may be used for the treatment of cancer, alone or in combination with pharmaceutically acceptable or other carriers, displaying cytotoxicity and anti-cancer activity for colon, prostrate, liver, breast, central nervous system (CNS), leukemia and malignancy of other tissues, including ascites and solid tumors. The cancer cell death is mediated by induction of apoptosis and inhibition of cell proliferation at specific doses.

    Abstract: An eye-fixation device is provided having an eyecup and a source of light within the eyecup. The device can further include an eyecup fixation element, a power supply, and electric, fiber-optic or chemical light sources. A control circuit can cyclically vary the intensity of the light produced by the electric light source. In a method of using the device to reduce motion of an eye during a medical procedure, an eye is selected for treatment and an eyecup is placed over the eye that is not being treated.     Abstract: The present invention is an accessory hanger. In one embodiment this accessory hanger has an arm with first and second ends and first and second angles and a support base. The support base is rotatably coupled to the first end of the arm. The length of first end of the arm is at least substantially the same as that of the support base. This feature provides the necessary support and balance to allow the support base to remain stable on a flat when weight is applied to the arm in the downward direction. This accessory hanger is a compact, portable device that may be used to hang handbags, umbrellas, shopping bags, jackets and other items from restaurant table tables or any other suitable flat surface. This accessory hanger is made even more compact and portable when the arm includes has a coupling means such as a hinge that allows it to be folded or a screw connection that allows the arm to be disassembled.

The storage bin includes a blow-molded bin structure having first and second ends removably attachable to the seat support members. The bin structure includes a plurality of generally vertical compartment walls arranged to form a plurality of storage compartments. At least one of the storage compartments extends substantially the entire length of the bench seat for storing long items. The compartment walls form open bottoms therebetween, such that the vehicle floor surface forms the bottom of each storage compartment for supporting items stored in the storage bin.

    Abstract: In apparatus for mixing and then separating different flow streams, such as solvent extraction apparatus, a cascade of contactors and jet pumps are arranged in counter-current flow mode. The same one flow stream is applied to the drive port of each jet pump in the cascade and the other flow stream is applied to the suction port of each jet pump in the cascade. The jet pumps in the cascade increase in size from a high pressure to a low pressure end of the cascade so that the suction pressure required at successive jet pumps is reduced.

    Abstract: A fluidic contactor comprising a vortex stage and a separator stage. The vortex stage is in the form of a vortex chamber whereby fluids of different densities when introduced into the chamber through one or more tangential inlets are caused to swirl through the chamber before passing into the separator stage which is in the form of a column forming an extension of an axial outlet from the vortex chamber. In passing along the column the fluids become separated and emerge through separated outlets at the end of the column remote from the chamber. The fluids can be mixed together before entry into the chamber or separate fluids can be intimately mixed together in swirling through the chamber, in each case to permit mass transfer of constituents between the fluids.
