  • Patent number: 11481557
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for mapping clinical terminology with natural language processing. In one embodiment, an example method includes generating a word relationship graph for a plurality of mappings between a first code set and a second code set, receiving a first code of the first code set, and automatically mapping a second code of the second code set to the first code based on the word relationship graph. In this way, seemingly different code descriptions from different medical vocabularies may be automatically mapped to each other with reduced processing and reduced human intervention.

  • Publication number: 20080133275
Abstract: A method for providing information to a clinician regarding a patient's medical problems based upon a combination of the information recorded in the medical record and information omitted from the medical record is described. A patient's medical record is obtained. The medical record may include information regarding the medical conditions experienced by the patient, information from a clinician's observations of treating or testing the patient, and results from tests or therapies administered to the patient. A computer system having a decision support system is used. The decision support system comprises a prediction engine. The decision support system is used to predict conditions or problems omitted from the patient's medical record. These predictions are then provided to the clinician for recording into the medical record.

  • Patent number: 5192927
Abstract: This invention discloses a band-stop filter, which has multiple sections of non-uniform and unbalanced microstrip transmission line. Such a structure can optimize the characteristics and maximize the matching frequency range. The total length of the filter can be reduced to a half of that of a conventional filter, and the insertion loss in the pass-band is reduced to a third of that of a conventional filter. Besides, this invention suggests a structure which does not require the inward etching of the microstrip line. Instead, the microstrip line itself is used directly as the building element of a spur-line filter. Thus, the tolerance in fabrication can be greatly relaxed without effecting the required characteristics.
