Patents by Inventor Javad Khajehpour

Javad Khajehpour has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20080129434
Abstract: The present invention is directed at an inductor which is capable of providing a variable inductance. The variable inductor is typically mounted/stored on an integrated circuit chip to provide continuous or multiple variable inductor values for wireless applications and the like.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 30, 2006
    Publication date: June 5, 2008
    Applicant: SIRIFIC WIRELESS CORPORATION
    Inventor: Javad KHAJEHPOUR
  • Patent number: 7245187
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to amplifiers, and more specifically to multi-band and/or multi-standard low noise amplifiers. There are currently no inexpensive, highperformance, fully-integrable, multi-standard low noise amplifiers (LNAs) available. The invention provides a suitable LNA for a multi-band and/or multi-standard receiver in wireless and other applications.

  • Patent number: 6639447
Abstract: The invention is implemented in the form of modifications to a Gilbert mixer circuit. The modifications alleviate disadvantages and problems introduced because of low voltage power supply typically found in low-power devices such as portable cellular phones. In addition to improving the linearity performance, the new design also provides good matching between I and Q signals, and decreases the switching noise in the active mixer by reducing the switching current. The invention can be applied to both single stage and dual mixers to give low noise performance and Automatic Gain Control (AGC).

  • Publication number: 20020094794
Abstract: A signal convertor for modulating or demodulating an input signal x(t), comprising: a synthesizer for generating wideband mixing signals &phgr;1 and &phgr;2, which vary irregularly over time, where &phgr;1*&phgr;2 has significant power at the frequency of a local oscillator signal being emulated; a first mixer coupled to said synthesizer for mixing said input signal x(t) with said mixing signal &phgr;1 to generate an output signal x(t) &phgr;1; and a second mixer coupled to said synthesizer and to the output of said first mixer for mixing said signal x(t) &phgr;1 with said mixing signal &phgr;2 to generate an output signal x(t) &phgr;1 &phgr;2.
