  • Publication number: 20140195984
Abstract: The present systems and methods relate to frameworks for identifying persons of interest identified through datasets collected from law-enforcement agencies, financial institutions, or other public resources. The present systems represent network data regarding individuals and explicit connections between them as a network graph. The present systems determine a statistical model representing the network graph, the statistical model generating hidden parameters for decomposing and projecting the network graph onto a space of baseline communities.

  • Patent number: 8719936
Abstract: An intrusion detection system collects architectural level events from a Virtual Machine Monitor where the collected events represent operation of a corresponding Virtual Machine. The events are consolidated into features that are compared with features from a known normal operating system. If an amount of any differences between the collected features and the normal features exceeds a threshold value, a compromised Virtual Machine may be indicated. The comparison thresholds are determined by training on normal and abnormal systems and analyzing the collected events with machine learning algorithms to arrive at a model of normal operation.

  • Patent number: 4101279
Abstract: Disposable bowl is adapted to fit into a toilet bowl and to be supported thereby. It contains a blender blade assembly in the base thereof and a lid or cover is provided which can be secured to the container after same has been used. A connection extends into the bowl adjacent the upper side for injecting water or other fluid to wash down the sides of the bowl and also to dilute the stool specimen which may then be blended by engaging the device upon a conventional blender base. A further tube extends through the wall of the bowl for extraction of the necessary sample after blending whereupon the entire assembly may be disposed of without opening same.
