  • Publication number: 20230038551
Abstract: The camera module has a lens assembly comprising a body and a heating element with an optically transparent coating applied to the body for heating it as electric current flows for removing water-based obstructions. The module includes a power supply for supplying electric current to the optically transparent coating through conductors, and a lens barrel (for receiving the body comprising a passageway for the conductors extending within the lens barrel towards the lens body. The method comprises applying to the lens body, high- and low-refractive index layers and an aluminium-doped zinc oxide layer.

  • Publication number: 20220243169
Abstract: The invention provides a B. thuringiensis {Bt) strain which does not produce beta-exotoxin and which exhibits insecticidal activity against Spodoptera frugiperda, an insect whose control is poor or ineffective with the currently market available Bt-based products. Thus, compositions based in this strain can be used as insecticides or for preparation of insecticides, being preferably that the composition used is a combination of spores and crystal proteins of the strain. The genome of the strain contains a combination of at least (6) different cry genes and at least (3) different Vip genes that has not been described for other Bt strains and that can be used to identify it.

  • Publication number: 20070272227
Abstract: A gas heating device comprising a gas burner, a combustion chamber for the flames of the gas burner and a convection air conduit with an air inlet and an air outlet for evacuating a convection air stream that has been heated in the gas heating device. The aim of the invention is to enable the gas heating device to be used for various purposes. To achieve this, the combustion chamber of the gas burner and the convection air conduit are connected to allow the passage of fluid. An exhaust gas stream can thus mix with the convection air stream.

  • Publication number: 20070225950
Abstract: Method for calculating an ophthalmic lens comprising: [a] calculating and constructing a computational model of an initial lens with a given prescription, [b] calculating the three sections of the optical path traveled by rays using the computational model, [c] determining the first surface of a lens equivalent to the initial lens, and [d] calculating the second surface of the equivalent lens by plotting the rays through the equivalent lens and determining their point of intersection with the second equivalent surface. Each ray has an equivalent optical path equal to the initial optical path, or has at least one of the sections of the equivalent optical path equal to the corresponding section of the initial optical path. The equivalent lens thus calculated is the ophthalmic lens that is the object of the invention.
