  • Publication number: 20240146613
Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described that provide a multi-platform tool focused on displaying various levels of a topology of a network to a user while maintaining an original context of the user that was initially selected. Elements within the topology are dynamically added or removed from the user's view, e.g., the display, as the elements come in and out of focus. For example, in configurations, as the user traverses the topology, e.g., graph, the nodes that are not of interest generally become invisible. Thus, the user receives a clear view of how the selected component changed according to the user's actions and may achieve an easily maintained history of the current hops through the network topology.

  • Patent number: 11785497
Abstract: A method performed by a first node is disclosed herein. The method is for handling data traffic. The first node operates in a communications network. The first node receives an indication from a second node operating in the network. The indication indicates, for a packet forwarding control protocol (PFCP) session, at least one of: i) a first rule for packet detection; and ii) a second rule of enforcement of quality of service. The first node initiates a process of optimization, based on reinforcement learning, of a procedure to control data traffic in the network. The process of optimization is further based on the received indication. A method performed by the second node is also described. The second node receives a first indication from the first node indicating that the first node supports the process of optimization. The second node then sends the indication to the first node.

  • Patent number: 11765200
Abstract: Methods, a user data node (120), a policy node (150), an application node (170) and an operator network (101) for enabling management of an attack towards an application (190) hosted by the application node (170) are disclosed. The policy node (150) receives (3) attack information and an identifier of the application (190) to which the attack information applies. The attack information relates to the management of the attack and the attack information comprises a type of attack, a set of detection conditions relating to detection of attacks of the type of attack, and a mitigation action to be invoked when at least one detection condition of the set of detection conditions is fulfilled. In this manner, degeneration of the application (190) caused by the attacks of the type of attack is mitigatable. The policy node (150) generates (13) at least one rule based on the attack information.

  • Patent number: 10484056
Abstract: A test device for simulating analog beams applied to a DUT includes a memory that stores instructions and a processor that executes the instructions. When executed by the processor, the instructions cause the test device to perform a process that includes obtaining, from the memory and based on instructions received for testing the DUT, a predetermined power level for a beam to be simulated for the DUT and a predetermined time delay for the beam to be simulated for the DUT. The process also includes applying the predetermined power level for the beam and the predetermined time delay for the beam to a set of subcarriers and cyclic prefix orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (CP-OFDM) symbol to obtain simulated characteristics of the beam from the perspective of the DUT. The process also includes sending, over a wired connection, the simulated characteristics of the beam from the processor to the DUT.

  • Patent number: 10462686
Abstract: A testing system tests a device under test (DUT) by emulating at least one radio access protocol. The testing system includes at least one transmitter, multiple receivers, multiple radio frequency (RF) heads, multiple horns, and multiple combiners. The transmitter(s) are configured to use an intermediate frequency for transmission. The receiver(s) are configured to use an intermediate frequency for reception. The RF heads up-convert the intermediate frequency from the transmitter(s) to RF used by the DUT and down-convert the RF used by the DUT to the intermediate frequency used by the receiver(s). The combiners each correspond to a different receiver and combine beamformed signals received from the DUT via two different RF heads and via the horns. The horns transmit RF signals to the DUT and receive RF signals from the DUT using two different polarizations.

  • Patent number: 7592171
Abstract: The present invention discloses new live attenuated strains for oral immunization against cholera that are provided in freeze dried formulations for long term storage and administration to humans. These strains combine the two most important properties of live attenuated cholera vaccine candidates. One such property is being well tolerated by people ingesting them. This was achieved by virtue of mutations already described in the art. The second property is having enhanced environmental safety due to the absence of VGJ? DNA in their genomes and also due to null mutations in the mshA gene or other spontaneous mutations conducive to the lack of MSHA type IV fimbria on the bacterial surface. This was done envisioning that VGJ? is a filamentous phage able to recombine with CTX? and disseminate the cholera toxin genes. This VGJ? phage as well as the VGJ?-CTX? recombinants uses the MSHA fibers as receptor.
