Publication number: 20220349774Abstract: A method for determining a predictive life of a pressure containing component includes determining, from sensor data, one or more cycles. The method also includes generating one or more additional cycles. The method further includes determining a component feature is below a threshold. The method further includes generating one or more supplementary cycles. The method also includes determining, from the one or more cycles, the one or more additional cycles, and the one or more supplementary cycles, the component feature. The method includes determining the component feature exceeds the threshold. The method further includes determining, based at least in part on the one or more supplementary cycles, a predictive life for the pressure containing component.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2021Publication date: November 3, 2022Applicant: Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations LLCInventors: Javier FRANCO, Jeffery FISHER, Connor COOK, Kevin SWEENEY

Patent number: 11481476Abstract: The present invention proposes a rapid, reliable data extraction method for extracting data from a database of data (3) that is watermarked according to a reversible watermarking method. The method according to the invention consists of obtaining, from a first extraction request received from a client terminal (1), a second extraction request (R2) for extracting watermarked data and a third request (R3) applied to the extracted data after it has been de-watermarked. In the presence in the first extraction request of initial selection conditions relating to watermarked properties, these are included in the second request after having been transformed. In the presence in the first extraction request (R1), of aggregation functions relating to a watermarked extraction property, these are included without modification in the third request (R3) so as to supply a result to the client terminal (1) in response to the first extraction request (R1).Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2017Date of Patent: October 25, 2022Assignee: INSTITUT MINES TELECOMInventors: Gouenou Coatrieux, Javier Franco Contreras

Patent number: 11372999Abstract: The present invention proposes a method and associated device for inserting tuples into a watermarked database without having to remove the watermarking from all or a part of the database before inserting each tuple. To achieve this, the invention consists of storing, in watermarking metadata, the type of group or class wherein the tuples of the database have been distributed during the watermarking of the database. For each type of group or class, a rule defining a modification of the value of at least one property on which the watermarking is carried is also stored in the watermarking metadata, depending on an insertion force parameter. Each tuple to be inserted is watermarked by applying the modification rule according to the group to which the tuple belongs. Due to the rule used, the insertion of the watermarked tuple does not modify the type of group it belongs to.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2017Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: Institut Mines TelecomInventors: Gouenou Coatrieux, Javier Franco Contreras

Patent number: 8477991Abstract: The invention relates to a method for watermark embedding in multi views video comprising a plurality of views captured with a plurality of cameras comprising for each view a step of projecting the view onto a domain invariant to the plurality of views and to intermediate synthesized view, which depends on the locations, orientations, and intrinsic parameters of the cameras, resulting into an invariant vector; a step of applying a watermarking algorithm to the invariant vector resulting into a watermarked invariant vector; and a step of modifying the view to obtain a watermarked view, wherein said watermarked view when projected onto the invariant domain results into the watermarked invariant vector.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2011Date of Patent: July 2, 2013Assignee: Thomson LicensingInventors: Gwenael Doerr, Severine Baudry, Javier Franco-Contreras

Patent number: 8155858Abstract: A real time doser efficiency monitoring method is described that measures the average instant pressure difference within one duty cycle of the doser injector. The disclosed method results in improved doser efficiency monitoring. The disclosed method can be implemented in a number of areas. For example, in a diesel truck application, the doser efficiency can be monitored accurately, for example within 5% error, all the time, no matter whether the truck is in a transient or steady state.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2008Date of Patent: April 10, 2012Assignee: Cummins Filtration IP, Inc.Inventors: Xiao Lin, Daniel D. Wilhelm, Javier Franco

Patent number: 8155860Abstract: A real time, average pressure difference method for monitoring doser efficiency is described that determines the difference between the average pressure when the doser is not injecting and the average pressure when the doser is injecting at a predetermined commanded injection rate. The average pressure difference method results in improved doser efficiency monitoring. The method can be implemented in a number of areas. For example, in a diesel truck application, the doser efficiency can be monitored accurately in real time.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2008Date of Patent: April 10, 2012Assignee: Cummins Filtration IP, Inc.Inventors: Javier Franco, Thomas A.
