  • Publication number: 20130123701
Abstract: The ear irrigation device for the removal of earwax integrates a fluid injector assembly with a fluid container (2) which is loaded and discharged by means of a guided rod (3) and plunger (4) assembly with bidirectional linear sliding through its inside, arranged in the container (2), which it divides into a front chamber (2a) and a rear chamber (2b), an actuating element (5) to move the rod-plunger assembly (3, 4) to said retracted position, a retaining element (13) to retain it, and a nozzle portion (6) for discharging by ejection the fluid of the front chamber (2a) of the container (2) having been provided. A handgrip (7) with a trigger (8) controls the retaining element (13) to release the rod-plunger assembly (3, 4) and allow it to move towards said extended position. The rod (3) of the plunger (4) is hollow and houses a fixed axial guide element (10) and a spring (12) coaxial to the axial element (10).

  • Patent number: 8341894
Abstract: An enclosure is made out of transparent or translucent panes which form a chamber (1) through which a liquid flows in closed circuit and which interchanges energy with the inner and outer environments, a heat exchanger (2) in contact with the liquid, a circulation pump (3), and a hydrostatic pressure reducer device (4). The hydrostatic pressure reducer device allows the reduction of the thicknesses of the transparent panes which hold the liquid inside. The active character of the enclosure is due to its capacity of controlling the solar heat load and the illumination. The solar heat load is regulated through the heat exchanger. The illumination of the building is controlled through the adjustable transparency of the liquid. The described enclosure allows the creation of an isothermal envelope which allows the climatization of the building. The system can be used for active outer enclosures or for interior partitions for the climatization and luminic control, as well as for glass roofs or false ceilings.

  • Publication number: 20120119730
Abstract: Axis axial position measurement system uses the electric signal generated by one or more sensors at the passage of teeth of a cogwheel fixed on the axis. The cogwheel is cut with at least one group of teeth, including at least three types of teeth of different height: a first type of teeth (1) of constant maximum height, a second type of teeth (2) of constant minimum height, and a third type of teeth (3) of variable height in the axial direction of the axis between the maximum and minimum heights of the teeth of the first and second type of teeth.

  • Publication number: 20120067778
Abstract: The present invention relates to the preparation of Multimetallic Anionic Clays (MACs) through a simple method, which are then shaped by spray-drying into microspheres with adequate mechanical properties, suitable to be fluidized. The microspheres are appropriate for application as additives in the Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) process, i.e. blended with the conventional catalyst, to in situ remove sulfur oxides (SOx) from the combustion gases produced in the regeneration stage of the FCC process, when cracking sulfur-containing hydrocarbon feeds. An oxidation promoter is added to the MACs in order to promote the oxidation of SO2 to SO3, a key step in SOx removal, providing more efficient and versatile materials, which are apt to be used in atmospheres with variable oxygen concentration.

  • Publication number: 20120040822
Abstract: The present invention refers to a method for eliminating silicon or silicon compounds that are contained in alumina based materials without destroying such alumina based materials allowing for their reutilization, its main application is being the regeneration of alumina based catalyst contaminated with silicon, which are used in hydro-treating processes in the oil industry for sulfur elimination and silicon removal from process streams. It is important to note that the procedures and/or conventional methods known so far for the elimination and removal of silicon contained in alumina based materials, use inorganic acids or their mixture in a digestion process which modifies the properties of alumina and of any other element contained in the material, thus destroying the alumina and disabling their reutilization.

  • Patent number: 6572174
Abstract: The structure illustrates is an articulating cover for the bed of a vehicle which includes a hinge connecting a first portion and a second portion and which can articulate as the cover is raised. This configuration provides a stable isolation to area over and both in and above the truck bed area. A higher level of articles can be stored in the truck bed area and still remain partially covered with the first portion providing a vertical shield from wind and shade. The truck bed can also accommodate passengers while provide shade both from the front vertical portion and the second portion which remains horizontal. The second attribute enables the truck bed to be converted into a comfort area especially amenable to sitting, relaxing and enjoying a view, tailgating and other activities involving the truck bed.
